Re: Who's going to Omaha April 14, 2012

I figured you guys were joking about Hooters but then you posted the address and suddenly I'm not so sure! I sincerely hope you're not visiting a new town only to drive 20 minutes to hang out in a crappy chain restaurant when there's probably three dozen unique bars and restaurants all within walkin...

Re: Who's going to Omaha April 14, 2012

I checked with some friends who said they did tailgate during the CWS last year. The lots for the ballpark and the arena are shared so that's probably a good sign. Mr. Lamartine - I'll be curious what you learn when you call the venue; they'll probably say the policy states no tailgating but my gues...

Re: Who's going to Omaha April 14, 2012

I've been working on this show (in my mind anyway) for the past 25 years. Finally, the payoff! The arena is 9 years old and sits on the northern edge of the dowtown with the Missouri river bordering to the east. If you come in town on Friday, the 'Old Market' is the bar district and resides 6 blocks...

Re: 04.30.2011 Sprint Center Kansas City, MO

Single ticket available! My group of 6 is down to 5 so I have one $146 seat in section 108 (should be nice seats - just off the front corner of the stage). Shoot me an e-mail if interested: havanadydrmn@yahoo.com

Thanks!

I don't know about the other locales mentioned, but Bubba actually played Rosenblatt back around 1985. Or at least he was scheduled to. I remember he was billed to play after the Omaha Royals baseball game (KC AAA affiliate) and I floated it out to my friends to guage interest. They had no idea who ...

Are you all forgetting the "Christmas Island" cover? Horrific. I'm actually a big fan of the CILCA cover with the nautical compass. I like the whole display of the picture along with the script lettering. It fits into my vision of a lot of 70's era graphics - which is not necesarily a bad ...

Okay - I'll stand up for Elvis Imitators. First of all, I think it was recorded as more of a lark than anything else. Note that it doesn't appear on any studio album and according to Steve Goodman (who wrote it - along with such gems as Banana Republics, This Hotel Room, California Promises, etc.) w...

I have nine rooms at the AmericInn in Burlington. Is that where you are staying? I don't think that I am in need of another, but I would like to touch base with you nonetheless. Can you send me an e-mail?
