Re: I hate ticketmaster

Unbelievable, I was on at precisely 11:00 (EST) the wait was 15 min or more, then shut out! I'm wondering how many tickets were distributed? I've never been shut out completely before. Rarely do I get the seats I want, but WTF?

DRAL video

Does anybody know how to get one's hands on the DRAL video from intermission? I thought it was hilarious, and would like to see it again.

Re: Who's going to Tampa April 24th

Question for those who have attended Buffett in Tampa: how is the lawn? How does it compare to the lawn seat at Lakewood (Atlanta)? Looking at the seating chart, it looks like a TINY lawn. I have the opportunity to get some lawn seats but I do not want to buy them if sitting on the lawn is terrible...

Re: Tampa Show

I got on at 10:00.00 and could only get section 15. Threw them back, and again the same, I finally took them @10:04 thinking that it was my last chance. Went back yesterday (2/22) and there were still some in 15 (YY). I too don't understand, no lawn on 2nd tier, @ 10. What gives? I got tickets to JA...

Re: Orlando 11/14 Concert cancelled

No Biggie to me. I have long since given up the urge to follow Jimmie around the globe. Ticket prices, lack of Florida shows, big business getting in the way of what once was. At This point, if Jimmie gets to St Augustine, I'll go, otherwise skip it. Very sad, maybe Bubba is getting close to the end...

Hell the FDA doesn't even do research on the meds out now. The research is done by the drug companies who report their findings to the FDA and then the FDA approves the drug. Like the drug companies are going to report adverse sides? The FDA is a huge joke and a waste of our tax dollars. The FDA do...

Sorry this is very late, I have not been able to look at the forum for some time now. Just a couple of comments for what it's worth. CAP's read my review on trip advisor "The view is their only strong point". We live only a few blocks away and rarely go there. Over priced, can't make any s...

I'd have to agree with Oyster on that. My wife bought me SPOL when it first came out, took me nearly a year to finish, totally forgetable, predictable, and way over the top. I like the CD though.

I had the priveledge of meeting Mr Heston along with Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda while Filming "Midway" on Board the USS Lexington. All three men were very gracious, although Mr Heston stood out as larger than life. He was always true to himself, an outspoken activist for civil rights as we...

I sit here reading this, fighting back tears. I too was a fan long before Buffett. Dan's music affected me in a personal way, seemingly with every song he wrote. I heard Same Ole Lang Sine yesterday, still does the same thing to me every time.

God bless and keep you and your's, Dan

Margaritaville theme park

Yesterday, I was starting to think about going over to Universal Studios Florida for a couple of days. I guess it must have been on my mind, because I woke up this morning having a dream about a Margaritaville inspired theme park. I don't know if this topic has been brought before, but what attracti...

You can usually pick up a decent set at a garage sale or pawn shop. I know a guy who picked up a whole set of Callaway war birds with bag, balls, and even a set of shoes....that fit, for $400.00. You could even go to Costco or Sam's and pick up a new complete set for about $200. Get them, learn the ...

I like-um just the way they come out with a little salt....MAYBE some ranch. Either the Hooters in Florida don't serve them, or I've missed them all these years. I gotta go get some! Well, I voted for Plasma, but after reading your requirements......under 50" go LCD. The picture quality of LCD's diminish as the screen gets larger. 50" is about the biggest you can go.
