Thanks to the super dagger like fingernails and super slowness of our Ticketmaster computer lady, my hubby, who was 1st in line, got 6 lawn. I was second. Shut out by 10:04. I don't think there is any presale for DTE. Doesn't need one. Not many places ever sell out as fast as we do. We used to sell out in 10 minutes for 3 shows.

Right at 10, I was able to get 3 pavilion in section G, row W. Not the best but I took them. This was at a ticketmaster outlet (yes, I'm oldfashioned). Last year I pulled Section A. Can't believe so many were gone right at 10! Staying at the Staybridge on Crosspoint Blvd. $97 a night on orbitz.com

So where's the main hotel that you tend to "take over"?

I am thinking of Alpine this year instead of that new Toyota in Chicago. I don't like the looks of it. Would be my first time at Alpine. Is it truly as crazy as I've heard over the years? Better than cincy? Where is everybody staying then?

Toyota Park in Chicago just doesnt look like it would be as much fun as an amphitheater. No lawn. No hill. Without a hill, it's just too hard to see and it just seems too much like a stadium show (but on a smaller scale). I guess I'll hold out for Cincy and/or East Troy instead and since I've never ...

I love it when tickets go onsale during the week because i can sneak away from work or take a 1/2 day off and hang out at my ticket connection.....saturdays were just too crazy.

I don't think it'll make a great t shirt quote but I don't hate it. I like it better than the License to Chill tour. That was cheesy.
