Both Chicago critics described the Tinley Park pavillion as half full, which would be about 5500 people. I think there were more than that, but it was a pretty small crowd. People just don't know what they're missing. I only hope that they've made enough money on the tour to keep it going for anoth...

Check your local listings. THE BRITISH ARE COMING! At least, one of their telly programs is. Good news for U.S. fans: that BBC program filmed live in London last month is making the leap across the pond. Newly added to the July line-up for PBS is a Great Performances presentation of "Bruce Spri...

I'm glad to see that this thread has grown with other "believers" after seeing this concert live. I read somewhere where Bruce told a European crowd "See ya in the fall." I'm hoping this means that after he announces a European leg in the fall, they'll come back to the States for...

Set List of Nothing But Covers

Of course this will p*** off many people, but what if Jimmy played a show of nothing but covers? Put together a 20 song set list and let's get creative, too. I want to see everything from Abba (God, forbid) to ZZ Top and everything in between. This'll keep you busy on a Friday afternoon counting dow...

The obvious solution is that Jimmy needs to use his money to construct retractable roofs over the lawn at all US amphitheaters thereby guaranteeing that nobody gets so much as a drop of rain on them.

MUST SEE CONCERT OF 2006--SPRINGSTEEN W/SEEGER SESSIONS BAND

This may be have already been posted after Jazzfest, but after seeing Bruce and the SS Band last night at Great Woods, all I can say is WOW!!! If they're coming to your town and you have the opportunity, run don't walk to buy tickets. We were in the GA pit right down front in row 2 and it was one of...

McCartney Getting Separated...No Prenup?????

The Associated Press - London) Former Beatle Paul McCartney and his second wife, Heather Mills McCartney, said May 17 that they are separating after nearly four years of marriage, blaming intrusion from the media and insisting their split is amicable. Jazzfest Updates????

Just wondering if the weather held out for the show today? I was originally supposed to be there, but alas it wasn't in our final budget. I'm guessing that those who were there are not yet home in front of their laptops, but rather partying at Margaritaville hoping Jimmy shows up tonight. Post some ...

I'll take the arena rock stylings of Journey, Def Leppard, Foreigner, Boston, etc over Dave Matthews, John Mayer, Counting Crows, the American Idols and most of other crap contributing to the "overall suckiness" of today's radio.

If I didn't know what Steve Perry looked like and somebody told me that the new singer (can't think of his name) was Perry, I would've believed it. His voice is close, real clos...

While some might criticize them for not coming out with new material, I must say I saw them twice on their latest tour and they were on the top of their game. They made up for the high ticket prices with an outstanding 3 hour show. I couldn't agree more. I've seen them twice in the last three years...

I didn't think I'd enjoy the album that much, but WOW, it's really good.

I had to hear it first before tickets go on sale for his Boston show Memorial Day weekend. My wife and I have determined we'll be there!
