I am hoping to hear date soon as well..gotta plan my vacation days around it..always try and take a little trip after the show...just a great way to kick it off...taking my boys ( teens that love Buffett, I have trained them well haha) to show in Birmingham...but Atlanta is my adult time...

Strictly a rumor but I have heard from a friend who heard rumor/rumblings that Jimmy may be doing a show at Ft. Benning, Ga. on July 4th... (Toby Keith just did a show there a week ago.) Just putting it out there...I mean this is the rumor board..right?

One of Atlanta radio stations reported this morning that Zac Brown Band will be at the Atlanta Buffett show again this year and will film some concert footage for his new video...

every year they say they are not opening until later in the afternoon and once that road turns into a parking lot they open the gates around noon....also related to someones question about alcohol...there has been a sign up for years near the entrance that says no alcohol but not enforced....i think...

The last few years they have had signs saying gates wont open till like 2 or 3 ...but end up opening them around 12 due to traffic jams from all the people waiting to get in..

Made a quick weekend trip to Panama City FL. with wife and kids this past weekend..hung out by the heated pool..frosty beverages and Buffett on my IPOD...weather was nice (upper 70's) put me in Concert mood...stopped by Margaritaville store and got me a new yellow Landshark sunvisor...and coozie.......

you know last couple of years have been April shows..but before that we had June dates...like the warm weather shows better..everyone is so much more lively

I hear ya....I am so anxious. I need to know so I can put in to be off for work and plan vacation time... I try and always plan a vacation right after the show...great way to kick it off
