Re: What was your most favorite Buffett show ever?

There have been 3. 1. The "infamous" Buckeye Lake show 1993. 2. Pittsburgh 1995 from the 6th row. 3. The Buckeye Lake show in 1995 in the monsoon. many other memorable ones but it isnt an accident my faves all come from back in the day when it was just a little less planned, a little more ...

Re: Ticket buying secrets??????

Buy singles or wait. I'm one of those people who just can't NOT have a ticket right away but last year I upgraded 2 of the shows I went to as it got closer to the date. Ended up in the 8th row twice I agree. In this day and age and with no end of resources to find tickets I don't even bother to loo...

Re: Landshark Stadium logo

I hsven't seen anyonbe mention the potentially even bigger upside of this....this Stadium is where the Super Bowl is being played...and the NFL has tended to go with "older" acts in the past few years....would seem to be a natural fit. I said as much when I saw the game was in Miami andf t...

To bookend his life..."The Captain and The Kid". I have no doubt many here have never heard it.

Its really good, nothing fancy pretty much what you expect from a great band. I have loved the all ACDC channel on Sirius.

And earth to others...Bon Scott is still dead. Time to let it go.

I have been a longtime Chesney fan but his latest album is nothing short of brilliant. Harkens back to Jimmy's younger days.

As an aside ACDC's new album is really good also but thats probably best left to another thread. :D

Different perspective on what you think are weird requests... The tour is sponsored by Landshark, an AB product... it seems normal to me that they'd request walking vendors to sell AB products. Cups? Extra garbage yes, but it wouldn't be the norm if there weren't occasional idiots who find it neces...

I loved Jamaica Farewell. Hokey, I could do without, even if it meant another cover. I really don't like that song. I'm one of the ones usually clamoring for more Jimmy stuff, but if this is the answer, maybe I'll stop. Be careful what you ask for  Take Another Road I was excited to hear. That...

I am looking forward to the Kenny station! On XM I hear Jimmy on Top Tracks (Margaritaville), '70's (Margaritaville, Come Monday) and also The Blend. I have heard deeper tracks on well, Deep Tracks and The Loft but not often. I have also heard Fins on '80's but only once. I can't wait for the merge...

If you have or buy the 4-disc set "Boats, Beaches, Bars, & Ballads" you'll find the "Parrothead Handbook" in which JB supposedly gives the "official" background on most of the songs on the CDs...... :pirate: Sounds like you had a great first trip to KW.....when are...

My nominee for best Buffett song....

...with lyrics u want to quote. Not best song. Not favorite song. Not even best lyrics, just pick and choose songwriting mastery...and yes i know he didnt write it.
