Molly stay safe and good luck to the folks being effected.
Thanks Moogy.
They are saying we got 25 to 29 inches of rain in the county. We didn't get that much, but enough.
Guess I have to be careful what I wish for. 😜😘

We are fine, but so much flooding in this area. 😣 I know people *think* they need to go somewhere but is it worth their lives???? I don't get it. Anyway, we have plenty of food and power---right now, so we are going to sit tigh...

Happy Burger Day BN.

Busy day at the Courthouse. Criminal Trial with a female defendant who decided not to appear for her trial so we just started without her. The jury will probably have an easy time deliberating.
😊😊😊😊😊
I bet she doesn't win.

Back to gentle rain again today...nice soaking rain. Galveston and Houston has some street flooding. We need the rain but don't need t...

Jason and Billy and Greg have been in different groups...Off Kilter/Mulch Sweat and Shears/indiduals/etc. Hoping there will ...

Re: National PLAY-DOH Day Monday @ the MSC

Thanks, Molly and Tammy. The Barret's syndrome diagnosis some years ago really scared me. If bad, the surgeon cuts out the esophagus infected with cancer cells, then stretches it and reattaches the ends. I've been okay so far. They will contact me about the biopsy results. BUT Life is still good. :...

When I was growing up, we only had clay. I hated it because my hands weren't strong enough to work with it. I know, the heat from your hands....nope. not for me.
But my Mother had a recipe for clay using salt and alum. It was soft and great.

Straw kills it on the bases. He has been used for pinch running. Looks like Tucker might make the playoff team. Loookie you using baseball terms. :D Lol πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜› I used to really enjoy baseball back in the Jose Cruz and Nolan Ryan days. But something got in the way....work, having Ryan? Not sure. Alvarez. Tucker played for Buies Creek too and he killed the Pelicans. I was glad when he got promoted to Double A so I didn't have to see him play anymore. Another player the Astros had down here was Myles Straw. He wasn't as good as the other two but that guy could run. He might have been t...

Afternoon BNers Another hot day so you can find me watching drag racing, Astros and checking on the Texans. What happened to me???? I never watched ball sports. Guess a World Series will do that. 😁 The Fayetteville Woodpeckers (they were the Buies Creek Astros the last 2 years) are in the same leag...

I'm watching the Atlanta Braves game. A guy just tried to bunt and the ball hit him in the face. Not off the bat, just right in the face. :o
Ouch

Watching Astros/KC game. Coach was thrown out last night. Tonight, he was gone again in 2nd inning. 😁

Re: Full Moon FRIDAY 13th@ the MSC

Just got back from a beer tasting at our local Total Wine store. As the guy who was running it kept reminding us, state law only allows them to give each person 8 oz. of beer so we had eight 1 oz. samples. Not really much to go on but I had already had 5 of the 8 beers. I liked 2 of the other 3. Th...
