Margaritaville was getting played about once an hour on every radio station when I was a keet. It was such an influence, I took up guitar. My brother had a very good friend that was really into Buffett, and he would play his albums when I would be tagging along like little brothers do. My parents bo...

The Township Auditorium is the venue where Jimmy played in 76. He also played, prior to then, in a few bars in five points quite regulalry according to some of my friends who lived down the street from the Slagvols and went to USC during this time. My first JB show was at the Carolina Coliseum for V...

I got to the Colonial Center at six this morning and was number 59 in line. I got section 201 row 4. The lower levels were gone, according to the box office, four minutes into the openning of the sale.

I wanted anywhere between section 106-117, row 29 (nearest to the beer), but I am happy in 201.

I was really hoping for a April or May show, but just glad he is coming.

It was a long 18 years without Jimmy playing Columbia. Of course back when he and Janey were first together, he managed to get here quite often. I wonder why? :P

In the South, Bubba is a nickname that means, brother.

It is used mainly by female siblings referring to the only, or older male sibling.

Living here in the South, I know many Bubbas.

That is why I tend to believe that JB being called Bubba is a holdover of his childhood with LuLu and LaLa.

I don't think JB played here in Columbia SC from 1981 until 2003. Of course, I was on the road a lot and everything is a bit of a blur during that span.

I can only immagine BrahmaBreeze. I am in the Gamecock Club and have been for some time now and was informed that if my giving did not increase I could lose seats next year (2005). I cannot believe that with the mediocre past of Carolina football, we could put 85,000 seats in the stands every saturd...

11 Saturdays spent tailgating with good friends, food and booze, broken in between by four hours of a, hopefully, good game.

I thought that ACC football was pretty good. Until we joined the SEC. GO GAMECOCKS!

Fulmer is done. This will be his last year at UcheaT. In addition, after all the dirt has been aired on this whole Bama/Tenn fiasco, the NCAA will have to consider thier method of operations. This will go much deeper than you would think. This involves colusion between the NCAA and UcheaT and Fulmer...

Nah, he get's up at 5:00 am, showers, shaves, gets dresssed in a business suit, complete with tie, and heads out to an office building. Gets there before 8:00 am to get a good spot in the garage, and guzzles his last cup of coffee as he heads to a cubicle that he rented for the week.
