Agreed, Alpine is the best pure venue to see Jimmy, the tailgating is perfect, the sound is amazing (helps you are in the middle of nowhere), it's just all the other things that bring it down.....too large of a venue in 2014, no public transportation, no hotels, rural location.

Heavy advertising continues for this concert in Tinley, newspaper, radio all over Chicago......must be thousands of tickets left.

I also got busted on 43 going to the concert for speeding, I had just gotten of 12 and was maybe three miles away and got busted. All they wanted was my money, sent in the $200.00 or so and they dropped the charge from the record.

Def would recommend getting on a bus if u are going.

What the hell are you doing arriving at 10:00 am for an 8:15 concert???? That's just insane. With all the drinking I wouldn't open any parking lot to at least 3:00 pm for any 8:15 concert. This on you and nobody else.

what are Buffett's people's obsession with Toyota Park? The place is a total and utter dump. Who else plays concerts there? The parking lot is beyond small, if you have a seat on the floor---forget it, you can't see anything....I'm convinced Tinely is a much better option.

How about a new venue? Toyota Park is a total disgrace for a concert, horrible sitelines, bad floor seating, small parking lot. It's a soccer field. There's no reason to keep going back there.

I'm just telling you there's no reason to spend $150.00 for a ticket when you could get the same ticket for less than $75.00 a week before the show. Why would anyone spend $150.00 per ticket after all the taxes and charges right now? That's just crazy when you can get these same tickets for around half the price on the week leading up to the show. JB tickets at Toyota (Alpine the tickets have much more value) have no resale value at all and ...

Any ideas? I live in Chicago and I'm not buying any tickets for Bridgeview, will wait until the event gets closer and get them on Craigs List, last year they were selling for under face value days before the concert. I think a lot of people are gonna give thoughts to shelling out hundreds of dollars ...

I, for one, enjoy the intermission, it gives JB a break, gives us a break, and restarts and re-energizes the show.
