July was the only month we've had without snow. It was a cold, wet and dreary Summer. We don't have a sales tax in Montana and I can't get used to paying $1.0x for something with a dollar price tag. That's the only Florida negative I can see.

Sitting back listening to Beach Front Radio wondering what color my registration card will be. I think last year it was white and it had been damaged by the US Postal Service. And then I have to wonder and anticipate the t shirt color. Glad I only have to worry about these little things. 38 1/2 days...

I just saw Jim Harrison in Livingston last week. He wasn't doing so good, he had just come back from the dentist who pulled two of his teeth. He read from his book using a magnifying glass. Kind of sad.

I'm reading Peter Methiessen's Shadow Country. I have to say it's the best book I've ever read. It's over 800 pages and I don't want it to end. Peter was in Livingston last week and he signed it for me.

Costco had Margaritaville shoes and t shirts on sale. 147 days until Halloween and I leave for MOTM! Still waiting for the airfare to drop below $600. Last Friday it was $696. Last year I went through a travel agent but she goofed up, so I'm buying them myself from Delta and will take her $75 fee and party even harder!

Interminable winter turned into interminable rain, no days above 70 yet. It got up to 44 degrees today. Probably another snowy Memorial Day as most are.
