We've always used the woods at Great Woods. I remember long lines at Camden.
Plan Your pit stops accordingly.

Did someone say that security was throwing guys out of the woods last year?

SPINAL TAP

They influenced the Volume of Every band. I've yet to see a band
"reach eleven".

Oh, Elvis and the Beatles were pretty influential as well.

I jumped on the bus in '93 and heard from some grizzled parrotheads at my first show that that would be JB's last tour. I have heard some variation of the same news every year since then. Reality: The end will come one day. I don't think it will be with great fanfare. HOWEVER, in recent years Jimmy ...

People's behavior in public has been on the decline for quite a while. This is one of the reasons I don't go to movies anymore, people talking to each other and at the screen out loud as if they were in their living room. (Like my most recent experience during SUPERMAN RETURNS) I don't think people ...

Box Set in '93. Had to get schooled quick for the show in Buckeye Lake. Shortly thereafter, I snatched up all his albums. You can say that show "moved me".

The Set List may have become a snooze, but I'll accept that. I'll take the surprise songs as they come, but expect nothing. For me, it's more about meeting people and making friends in the lots. If I get Twelve Volt Man, Nautical Wheelers, or Lovely Cruise as a solo encore, then that would just be i...

How about changing up the setlist a bit? Once you see the first few setlists from his new tour, there are very few surprises once you get to see him. Start by rotating the opener. Imagine on the Salty Piece of Land Tour, while warming up to Hot Hot Hot and anticipating hearing Piece of Work. Instead...

WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?

I was reading a thread about the rumor that Jimbo is taking a year off. I don't believe it, but it made me wonder: WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO WHEN THE BUFFETT TOURING CARAVAN STOPS? I look forward to seeing him as much as anyone, but we all know the day will come that Buffett will not tour anymore. Hopefu...

I heard from a guy in a bar that he's going back to playing 4 to 6 shows a week, 8 to 9 months next year. Yup, from a guy in a bar. I've been hearing "rumors" like this since '92. From retirement to "just taking a year off". He's got the best job. He plays less than 30 dates a ye...
