Hubby's in TX for a few days, so I'm on my own. Tonights dinner: Cuties, grapefruit and a few Deglet Noor pitted dates :) OK I'll ask, Apart from all the ladies around here (and a few of the blokes) what is a "Cutie"? Sorry, they are clementines or mandarins. I'm just used to refer...

Re: What's for dinner?

Actually, I have lots of spinach and lots of cuties on hand, it just kinda took off from there. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.a...

Re: Beer P-orn

Whoa, that looks kind of heavy to pair with oysters. Is that the intent? I'm not really sure if that is the intent, or just more to do with using the oyster shells as part of the brewing process, or a little of both, but here is an excerpt from the brewery's website :) Stout and oysters have a long...

That’s exactly what Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan, co-founders of 21st Amendment Brewery did. In a food+beer collaboration ...

Re: What's for dinner?

Last night's dinner was Gino's East. I had purchased a Groupon back in January and needed to use it before Sunday. A combo appetizer plate which consisted of mozzarella sticks, spinach sticks and calimari. A Chicago Fire deep dish. A pitcher of Revolution Anti-Hero IPA. It was a treat. :) Ginos_res...

Re: Beer P-orn

Last night's beer - Revolution Anti-Hero IPA. The first time I had it was 2.5 years ago not long after we moved up here (Chicago area) and it became one of my favorites. Made it over to the brewpub in Logan Square last year, and hoping to get back over there again soon. We went out for pizza last n...
