Anybody happen to record this? I was in class and unable to see it. I'd love to see the memorial, if possible.

I don't want to bring the focus on Jimmy instead of Ed, but I think it needs to be said that Jimmy's interview tonight proves he's much, much more than a beach bum. In addition to that, one of my roommates who left the room when "60 Minutes" came on (and returned only when "The Simpso...

Just finished watching the "60 Minutes" tribute to Ed, and Jimmy got emotional talking about getting back from Hawaii just in time to see Ed before he died. I've always known Jimmy had that side, so I'm not surprised about that. I guess it's just that I'd never seen him so publicly sad. I ...

Let me rephrase myself:

I'm not crazy about JB's vocals on the song because Springsteen's vocal stylings are much different.

I do, however, think the CRB did a very fine job on the song. That's what I enjoy so much. It sounds great on Dolby 5.1 surround.

The best thing about Springsteen: he wrote one good song ("Glory Days"), and that one song was played the right way by JB and the CRB at Wrigley. That was far and away the best version of that (or any other Bruce Springsteen song) that I've ever heard. I think it is one of Jimmy's worst c...

I was there again last night for the media party and it was, yet again, packed to the gills with wait-times for people not on the media list being well over an hour. (Unfortunately the same jackass singer was there again). Going to be a big hit. Maybe that'll prompt JB to put a Margaritaville somewh...

Yeah, I'll be at the Wednesday night media party with my dad. Hope it's as good a time as last night.

I have an ex named Whitney, but there's no way we're talking about the same person.

CIP-Evansville Grand Opening

Just got back from the grand opening of the Evansville, Indiana Cheeseburger in Paradise, and it was picture perfect... Despite very cold, rainy weather, the place was PACKED with happy, excited people. The "islanders" were all very happy and polite, the food was amazing, and the atmospher...

I think the most exciting Buffett moment of my summer was at the Cincy concert when Fingers came on stage (unexpectedly for most, although I predicted way in advance he'd make an appearance) and absolutely WAILED on "Fins". It was so incredible. I guess "The Official Return of Fingers...

Enough of the cheesey schitck, I'd rather hear new stuff along the lines of He Went To Paris or A Pirate Looks At Forty than any of that novelty crap. Party at the End of the World has to be one of the worst songs he's ever committed to disc. Strong words. I'm going to jump out on a limb and guess ...

I've scoured the depths of Ebay on numberous occasions to no avail. I spent practically two hours looking around this morning.

Helluva lot of those cheap-ass "Maurice Gusman Center" reproductions, though. Too bad that wasn't my first show!

I have a couple from both. The last year I have is from 2002. I can not seem to find any more Damn, I was afraid of that. My first show was Cincy '05 and I REALLY hoped there were handbills floating around for that one. Sadly, handbills seem to be a disappearing commodity. There just aren't many of...

Concert handbills

I know sometimes there will be handbills/concert posters for an event, sometimes there will not be.

I've done a bit of digging and have not had any luck finding Buffett handbills/posters for any Cincy or Indy shows.

Any of you BNers know of the existence of such creatures?
