WHY DO I ALWAYS MISS THIS SONG!?!?!?!?!?

I'd pay full price to hear Jimmy come out and sing only "Tin Cup Chalice", "Coast of Marseilles", and "Livingston Saturday Night" (the original "Rancho Deluxe" version).

Seriously.

And "all my complaints" add up to 1: the price. That's all. And my point is that Jimmy's input DOES NOT extend to the selling price of the product. Brand managers, marketing and merchandising specialists do that. It is a business after all, not a charity. No offense intended, but if you a...

LSL has appeared in the local grocer here in Charlotte, NC. $8.59 for a six pack of a Budwieser product?!? :o Sorry Jimmy, I paid $126 to sit in a seat to see you play live but you have gotten too greedy with this. If you are trying to cut into the Corona market here's a hint for the marketing depa...

Was introduced to Pyrat by a bartender at the Rum Barrel last year. It is great on the rocks with a cigar. The other one I had there was Ron Lacappa (I think that is how it's spelled) VERY GOOD. No one has mentioned Barbancourt 12 year. Really nice flavor. If i'm mixing with cola, its usually the C...

Wikipedia is the least reliable source of info on the planet. Anything you read may or may not be true. It's about as reliable as most anything else you'll find on the internet, since a lot of the information on Wikipedia is excavated from other websites that may or may not be accurate. Generally y...

She shouldn't have said anything. I agree it was pointless. It doesn't matter if he was gay or not. Some things need to be left up to the reader. She is trying to force an agenda now and it becomes preachy. Trying to stir up excitement, as if there needed to be any more around this book. I read the...

Damn! I was actually at the concert where he preformed it for the last time live. Speaking of which, what's The Pyramid like anyway? For a concert it's the absolute WORST venue I've ever been in. The seats are more crammed than those in coach on a DC-3, and your either sitting in the floor section ...

Just an observation, not looking to break anyone's onions. As much as people complain about Jimmy doing too many cover tunes, there are quite a few of them on people's lists of the top 5 they'd like to hear. didn't want to be the one who said it. I think a lot of people are bothered that he does th...

Re: Conch Republic Rum

I don't hang out here enough to know where to put things. I KNOW I KNOW, poor excuse, but that's my story :P Anyway, anyone ever had Conch Republic Rum; either the light or dark? Just curious as to what you thought. I bought a 1/2 gallon of each (had it special ordered in Michigan just because they...

Pretty interesting. Did a brief Google on the song and didn't see any instances of an artist performing the song other than JB.

It's a great song I wish he'd bring back. It'd be a great way to feature the CRB as a lead-in from the intermission.

They should post these videos on YouTube or use a similar flash player to put them on Margaritaville.com.

Some of them are classics (and not necessarily child-friendly).

"Dixie Diner"

Is "Dixie Diner" from YHTBT a cover or what?

I've never known, and I've never heard any version other than Jimmy's version from YHTBT.

I will say that I like it and it would be a great song to do at a show where Fingers is present.

I've yet to see it in the Western Kentucky/Southwestern Indiana area.

Feel obligated to try one out of curiosity. I do like CIP's Island Ale. Not great but not bad. A good beer for a hot day when they're offering draft specials.

As much as I love Jimmy and the Reefers, I don't think I could ever meet them. I'd have a starstruck moment and make an ass of myself.

I've met lots of other famous folks and been cool about it, but Jimmy's one person I'd blow it with. I know myself well enough to know that much. :D

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Us_festival#History It wasn't a failure like some other music festivals have been (with deaths, horrible weather, etc.), but considering the enormous amount of money that went into it, the huge technical issues with the expo tents and so forth, it was a failure. It was a...
