DTE is going to be interesting with which acts it books this year.
The still terrible Michigan economy, the chance that Palace Sports & Entertainment may be looking to sell its venues/sports team, etc...
Will be interesting.

Re: South America Trip
I would start by checking with the US State Department. If you're Americans, not so sure that travel to Venezuela or Colombia is a good idea, but like I said, check with the US State Dept.
A month in South America with no agenda. You're my heroes!
Have a great, great time.

Re: 2009 JB Tour Dates - UNCONFIRMED !!!
Great info! Thanks for the heads up. Very interesting that Vegas may very well be in September. Still hot as Hades there that time of year so that could make for some great times by the pool at the MGM. We may make the Toronto show. Loved it there in 2005 (despite the rain!) and great tix are ...

Re: Family Friendly Caribbean Resort
www.stellamarisresort.com Quiet, lots of amazing beaches nearby and a great, great set of private owners who go out of their way to make sure their guests are happy. Here is my Trip Advisor review for our recent stay. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g148424-d151502-r23132959-Stella_Maris_...

Re: Long Island Bahamas
Thanks for the tips, everybody. We had an amazing, amazing time. A steady 25 mph headwind that blew the days I tried to flyfish kept me from hooking any of the few bonefish we saw. A great time, nonetheless. Here is a review I posted on Trip Advisor with some pics. What a great Salty Piece of Land. ...

Didn't Larry Flynt offer to make Palin look good? She may have to take him up on that offer if her $150,000 in clothes count as taable income and the RNC forgets who she is if she and McCain don't win. I am somewhat speculating, but I'd guess that the clothes would be taxed as a gift and that would...

I can't shake the bias I've got against Brian Johnson/Back In Black version of AC/DC. I'll take all 5 albums done with original vocalist/frontman Bon Scott over anything done since. Somewhere here, I read someone writing about how they saw Bon Scott banging a gong to open Hells Bells at a 1980 conc...

So, I'm wondering why we're discussing her glasses, hair and outfits. Have we done this same kind of scrutiny at the suits, ties, hair, or shoes with any of the previous male candidates for President or VP?? No....But while you are on that topic... I thought Palin looked very well dressed while Bid...

Re: What a difference 2 months make
Thanks, Garry. That's very kind of you. My best wishes to you on better times ahead. :D Thank you. I'm confident I'll have MUCH better days when baseball season and the election are over. It's amazing how, as you get older, some things that once mattered to you don't seem to be such a big deal anym...

my new bride still adores me, I caught my 1st salmon this week and life is wonderful. As long as you have THOSE things going for you, all is well. I'm glad you decided to stick around. SURE, there may be some people here that'll p*ss you off from time to time, but I seriously doubt if anyone would ...

She wasn't forced into homelessness. There are shelters available - especially for women the age probably helps her too. Since she is working and collecting social security, I am sure there is a place she could find to rent. It might not be as posh as she was accustomed, but it would be a home. If ...
