Longboardn' ASEL&S Black's Law Dictionary is only used as a learning tool and a reference of last resort when there isn't state law or common law directly on point. It's basically the Gray's Anatomy (the book, not the goofy show  ) of the legal profession. If someone's citing Black's, chan...

Longboardn', I made the mistake of including a bottle of the Beach Blond in a mix n match 6 pack I put together at a store that lets us do that here in Grand Haven. If I had noticed it was brewed by Anh. Busch I would NEVER have included it as I would have instantly known that it was some hack attem...

Caly, I have used it extensively for hotel rooms and cars. Usually have great results. I used it last year and bid $50 a night for 2 nights at a 4 star hotel in Indy for the 2006 Indy show. My bid was accepted and we stayed at a great Hyatt right downtown. Cheapest published rates weer $99 a night. ...

Actually, Karl wants to be able to make all of the Vegas dates and he's getting his surf board ready for Jimmy's shows in Hawaii and (possibly) Tahiti. THAT IS WHY HE IS RETIRING NOW. Being a Skull and Crossbones guy, he heard the official and true rumor that this is actually Jimmy's last year of to...

The $15,000 a ticket VIP experience is disconcerting.

I still can't believe Jimmy only charged $100 a ticket for Anguilla and $150 a ticket for Paris.

What a great idea. The Olsen twins paying $30,000 to be seen at an event where they likely knew none of the songs.

Prediction: The tour will be cancelled after the 1st show as Eddie Van Halen and DLR will not be able to put up with each other even for the sake of replenishing their bank accounts to their 80's glory. Just a wild guess... I don't know who are a more volatile mix; Eddie Van Halen & DLR or Axl R...

Pussers Rum Painkillers

This weekend is Coast Guard Fest here in Grand Haven, Michigan. Last night was beer tent night. There was a guy named Michael "Beans" Gardner playing in one of the beer tents. He has some sort of endorsement deal with Pussers Rum and they were selling Pussers Rum Painkillers. The Painkille...

I picked rabid wolverine cuz that's what feels like bit me after shaving each day for a week. Doesn't matter what I use.

At least on Monday the razor slices easily through the 3 days of weekend growth.

I have had a dozen tequila sunrises in my entire life. Unfortunately, they were consumed within an hour during a very short tailgate before a U2 concert in 1987 when I was a freshman in college. Based on that experience I can't even smell grenadine without freeling my gut wrench. Too bad. They taste...

In the 5 minute interview on Radio Margaritaville last night before he walked onstage, it was interesting hearing Jimmy say his 2 rules about when not to approach him. 1. Never go to his home (though he should have said homes  ). 2. Never approach him while he's eating. They seem like no braine...

About 10 years ago I was on Big Pine and ws lucky enough to see a couple deer. We just watched the inquisitive deer that came right up to us. Once they realized we had no food, they walked away. Another car pulled up with out of state plates. They had a bag of apples and started feeding the deer. We...

Garry's picks for openers are great, especially Great Heart. Jimmy nails that song way better than Johnny Clegg!.

I have never heard Off to See the Lizard live. That would be fun from time to time.

I also like when he starts the show with Changes in Latitudes. It's my favorite of the upbeat SYKBH.
