so I'm doing pretty decent with the espn nfl pick'em. My percentage is 100% (but I don't get all the picks right each week), I've got 86 correct picks and it says I'm tied for 46th place.

Not too bad for someone who doesn't follow professional football.

I did it to go the higher ed route. Put the work in, finished. did the faculty thing for a few years. loved the teaching and service, hated the research. now I'm using my doc degree in other ways. worked at a university system, learned a lot about state politics. now I'm back in public ed working at...

I've got a Ph.D in education so if you need any encouragement, let me know. I always ask someone who is pursing the doc degree why they want it?

Sitting here waiting for my sister to start her treatment today. Came by to post. I spent many of mornings chatting with Connie here about this and that. We were some of the early morning crew back in the day.
