I just wanted to get this out before the thread disappeared. Alpine was great, although we did have a bit of trouble seeing the stage from the lawn section. I was all set for the ending Jimmy played when he was in Indy, 'In My Room" and 'Tonight I Just Need My Guitar'. After 'Glory Days' that w...

Sorry to say I can't really feel your pain right now. Just got back from Indy yesterday, what a great time. I got the show in Cincy to listen to tonight, and then I head up to Alpine tomorrow for the show on Saturday. I've been waiting for this week all year long and I'm having an unbelieveable time...

Earlier this year I read here about Margaritaville being released April 2, 1977. A few days later, on April 2nd, 2007, my husband and I were sitting on the beach, playing with the keets in the ocean and sand, when the pier grill played their own Buffett Buffet, including Margaritaville. It was one ...

1977 was a great year for me, I was 13. At Boy Scout camp that summer I remember "Margaritaville" and the Eagles with "New Kid In Town" and "Hotel California". Old enough to enjoy rock and roll, not old enough to have to get a job.

When something goes wrong at work or home I'll say to myself "blew out my flip flop". To remedy the blow out I find that nothing works better then humming a little 'Ola ola, ola ola, ola ola, ola ola", I know it's not Jimmy but to me it means that he's not far away.

As long as it's not any kind of "LITE" beer (or that Guiness crap), I can usually drink it without puking my guts out. But sorry, CORONA is the best. And Budweiser is the best domestic beer. I agree, Corona at any time is the best. However, I do like Guiness from time to time. I will only...
