I've looked into it as well. I've spoken to an author at an art fair who has used it and she was extremely pleased with it and recomended it to me. I'm not finished collecting rejection slips yet, but maybe someday in the future I'll have to go there.

A priest, a rabbi, the Dalhi Lama, and a Wiccan walk into a bar.

The bartender says, "Is this a joke?"

I can see how he can be seen as a mentally ill. Of course he was mentally ill!! The whole premise of the book was telling his story to a therapist. Just because someone goes to a therapist they are mentally ill? Today? No. When 'ol Holden was around. Absolutely. People didn't just go to therapy the...

I drink Bud Light, but that doesn't mean it's what I prefer. It means what I can afford. Luckily, I've moved up from the Milwaukee's Best.

Well, I finally got someone to explain why they love that song. I'm very familar with the Pusser story, and can appreciate people relating the session and the song. Thanks. (I still don't like the song though). I'll explain why I love the song. Because to me it's like a book on tape. It's good stor...

I wasn't a big fan of him. i read it twice just to make sure I wasn't missing anything and felt the same about him. I read it first in high school and thought this kid is a chump. I read it later and thought the same thing. But then again, I've never read it with a psychology slant to it, either. I ...

I betrothed my daughter out to a gorgeous 16 year old parrothead boy I met in Vegas last weekend. I knew he was right for her because he knew every word to Pencil Thin Mustache......they've been on IM or email every waking minute since Sunday night......I think I did well. I'm already planning the ...

What are these people's motives for starting such widespread destruction? Isn't this a form of terrorism? Sorry, just thinking out loud. Shouldn't try to make this a political thread.

sp far this fall I've made a black bean soup with pumpkin and apple(it was okay, but not near as good as the black bean soup with bananna), and a pumpkin cheesecake. The pumpkin cheesecake will take the place this Thanksgiving of the original pumpkin pie. It was great. So yeah, I think pumpkin and t...

I don't remember the last time a bought a cd. I download live shows, though, I don't steal them. I'm just too cheap to spend money on a cd. 15 dollars is insane.

The Southernmost Hotel was great. It's on the far eastern end of Duval Street 1 block from the beach. It's an easy walk down Duavl to all the bars. Get a pool view room. Forget walkin. Rent a bike for ten dollars a day. But watch out for those danged parked cars. After a few beers they just jump ri...

I've been to Key West once. That was in 1997 and that was enough. It may have had a glorious "pirate" or "drug runner" past but that seemed a lifetime ago. The chickens running around town was the only aspect of its former semi lawless past. I understand they've even rustled up ...

Atlantic Shores is no more. The whole complex is torn down and condos are going up. Welcome to the new trend in KW. We may have to recreate the "old" KW feel somewhere else..... I don't think I care much for the new, improved upscale condo version.... :( Yeah, that's a bummer. What...

She shouldn't have said anything. I agree it was pointless. It doesn't matter if he was gay or not. Some things need to be left up to the reader. She is trying to force an agenda now and it becomes preachy. Trying to stir up excitement, as if there needed to be any more around this book. I read the ...

I saw Robert Randolph for New Years 2004 in New Orleans at Tip's and it was and still is one of the best shows I have ever seen. The show started at 8 and didn't end until 4:30 in the morning. I don't remember who opened for him, I think Oteil and the Peacemakers, but I could be wrong. But the openi...
