Re: What are YOU reading?

Islands in the Stream - for the third time. Ah, Hemingway. I've read it four times....one of my favorites. I read somewhere they were making another movie version of it Everyone I've ever talked to who has read this book loves it and has reread it, but yet the critics dogged it when it came out.

Re: Michael Phelps photo w/ a bong

Who cares if Michael Phelps tokes? That is nothing like an elementary school teacher toking. I still wouldn't care about that either. But I think those are two very different examples. He swims for a living. He doesn't educate kids. And Buffett is also a role model, right? PTYDFYOGH is far worse tha...

Re: Bluegrass.

I have heard many bluegrass bands do their interpretation of others music, and a lot of it is great. Pickin on the Dead, a bluegrass tribute to the GD is wonderful, there is Pickin on North Country tribute to Bob Dylan, and of course Hayseed Dixie, the bluegrass tribute to AC/DC is major awesome. I...

Its possible if you skip the end notes, but then you'd be leaving a lot of his writing out.

Re: Live Nation **** Not ready for Internet Sales - READ ****

The next day I tried to get tix to Alpine Valley and scored pavillion seats two hours later. The ticket buying sucks. We just need t...

I've spoken with people in Pensacola who won't vote for Obama because of the same fears. There is way too much ignorance for such a "civilized" country. People would rather stay in an unwinnable war, watch our oil prices put all off us in dept, millions more people lose their homes, and o...

Unfortunately, that is about what that book is worth. I hoping he pulls out another one before it is all over to redeem himself. Something more along the lines of Tales from Margaritaville.
