Re: May Concerts in Question?

Be very wary of what you post and hope does not happen. My wife is a pharmacist on the board of 1st responders here in the Twin Cities. We have been getting daily emails about the status of what is going on. This virus has the potential to mutate very quickly and become a killing machine. That is wh...

Re: Alpine Valley seating

Take the side tickets. I have been in the pavillion the last 10 years and you will not be disappointed. It does make for a longer walk back to the parking lot though. Make sure you are half sober by the time the show is over to make the walk a bit easier.

With health care and all related cost the average US autoworker gets about $72 per hour vs. $42 for a foreign brand. The main thing that is killing the US auto workers is the health care costs for retirees. If the big three go under, it will cause a dramatic ripple throughout the worlds economy that...

I ran into Yoko 2 years ago when I stayed across from the Dakota. I saw her walking back from Central Park and Strawberry Fields. I just said thanks to her and John for the wonderful music they provided us. She was very gracious. John was a legend before his time.

A few years ago they had all the plans to put one in the Mall of America.
Turns out the mall wanted way to much to lease the space on level 4 so Margaritaville Holdings pulled the plug on it.
Sucks for us Minnesotans.

Led Zepplin 1979 at the Met Center in Bloomington MN.
Would have to say also seeing Def Leppard with Tesla opening on their first tour ranks up there also. Seeing Kiss and Cheap Trick in 77 was also good.

$3.87 down the street from me. Cost $36 to fill up the Yaris, $68 to fill up the Mini Van, and $48 to fill up the Firebird Convertible.
Guest which one get's the worst gas mileage? No, not the Firebird, the Dodge Caravan. Average about 17 mpg in that pig.

Well a nice Parrothead bought my 2 pavillion tickets to Alpine. Sold them for face but after paypal fees and certified mail I lost about $15. Not complaining but next year I am not buying for any friends. Just myself and brother in law.

Tickets Not Selling This Year

Just wondering what the influx of Tickets for Face value that is out there and why they are not selling? Checking Ebay and Craigslist you can get tons of tickets for face. Seems like all the lawn tickets are going for a premium this year. Heck, I have 2 seats for Alpine in the Pavillion I am trying ...

I just used my dvd recorder hooked up to a vcr. Recorded the whole concert on dvd. Then used Roxio to clean it up and reburn it.
I then converted the audio to MP4 via Total Recorder so I can listen to it on my Ipod.
Really simple and now I have a professional looking DVD
