If by compare and contrast you're only going by the number of songs, JB wins. But I've seen the Allmans several tmes and it's not unusual for them to go off on a 25 minute jam during a song. Their 11 or 12 song setlist could last as long as one of Buffett's 28 song setlists. Totally different style...

I've been an Allman bros fan as long as a Buffett fan, and got to see them live last Saturday night in Birmingham. All I can say is WOW! Though the line up has changed many times, I think they're still the best band in the land!
