Everybody's Talkin' in SBC TV Commerical

Just saw a new SBC long distance spot with Fred Neil's version (?) of the song. The spot features seniors playing botchy ball. Its currently airing in the San Diego market.

Crabman... Make sure you bring the good tequila to Coors! You know the stuff you gave us at Irvine last year. Hope you got good seats today. I went for a single and pulled center orc. row F! (and Loge 5, row VV at Irvine). Than Twntybucks emails me later in the day and says he got center orc. row C ...

Also remember that Jimmy makes tickets available to Parrot Head Clubs in the regions of the venues for their charitable contributions. If you feel like you get shut out on tickets, join the club make some friends and you will have the option to buy decent seats at face value. In that aspect Jimmy is...

We just have to wait and see. Last year I guess Jimmy needed the money 5 months in advance (the interest alone pays for the operating costs of the show). In previous years I can remember finding out about West Coast dates here or on COBO's site in July and they would go on sale in mid-August.

San Diego on a Tuesday... Please! I'll believe it when I see it. Coors is the 2nd most popular venue on the left coast. Remember, the Sat Irvine show is the only West Coast show that sells out right away! …And the SDPHC doesn't do very well with information. They didn't even announce the Vegas show ...

Vegas was great. DM, we took your advice and parked in East Valet (right by the escalators) and went back and forth to the car for Coronas and rum drinks (no $5 beers). That was beautiful! Taco bar at Ricardo’s was great, only waited 20 minutes. After the show, went downtown and saw another side of ...

On my way Harry... Holy cow! Does any one know if Club Trini played @ Tommy Rocker's last night as rumored?

We had a great pre-party here in San Diego with Koko Loco and Gary Seiler (we’ve got the best musicians)! Now it's off to Vegas for the real deal. See ya there.

Hey daddymention,

If you and your wife are driving out, don't forget the Tommy's in Barstow. I had Tommy's today while driving through LA and it was awesome! I'll look for you at the Remo Saturday or Sunday. No Corona Jersey this year - it didn't work in Vegas.

I learned to give everyone their ticket before getting to the show. This way when you have tickets to sell, you know just how many to sell. Sorry Nancy and Keri.... Damn that tequila, who put me in charge?

With SD representing so well, I guess I need to throw my 2 cents in! It's awesome to see The Mayor, Capt.Gary, The Daddy, SITC, CC, Baxter, SDP40, plus my pal, Coach Jimmy K all in the house. Okay, who’s going to be at that anniversary party? Can’t we steal any of that great musical talent? I will s...

U206 cost $100??? Not more than 8 months ago that section was $37.50! I got in U202 at $65. This is getting ridiculous! I think this madness is coming to end soon for me after almost 40 shows. What happen to the $21 lawn tickets?

We are starting out at the Flamingo pool bar around noon. Then the MGM party for a while. A little break to check out the Lakers/Kings (MGM SB or Ricardos?), and back to the party. I'd say your best starting points are the Largo, Flamingo pool or the Theme Park (MGM).

See ya there...

I've got 33 since 1989. How do you guys keep track of all the brain cells you'll killed? I guess I better cut back on that binge drinking 3-5 times a year.

See ya in Vegas for 2 more!
