Thanks all, i am probably going to do alot of the touristy stuff my first time but appreciate all the advice. I will check some of the places out if i get a chance. I intend on going back again!!! I leave tomorrow bright and early.

although I support everything Jimmy related, my interest wanes after the Fruitcakes disc. There is great stuff on all of his recordings, but to me before Fruitcakes is where I usually look for my "Buffett Mood"

I am heading from Pittsburgh to N'Orleans for Halloween weekend. For you Margaritaville veterans, is there any food/drink in particular you recommend from the Cafe? Also, other than the regular debauchery, any suggestions on what to do in the day before things get absolutely crazy?

simple solution is go to the lot the day of the show. Parrotheads are friendly and will get you extras for face-value

That is the only thing that sucks about Star Lake(I will never call it the PG Pavilion). Unless you stay in the campgrounds down the road, the hotels by the 22/30 interchange in Robinson are really the closest accomodations.
