My wife now openly hates Jimmy. She still likes alot of the music but hates what he now seems to represent. Now I always say nothing surprises me, but I was surprised about what he did at Newport. I'm now glad I didn't go. Although like many others I would not have gone just for him, but all the gre...

I have a friend who was a US Marshall and was assigned to Rosie for something or other about 5 years ago. He said she was a complete a -hole. Not to him as she apparently isn't stupid, but he said she was awful to "little people" around her.

Bruce's show in Boston was close to three hours...no breaks at all - one hit after another. In terms of taking requests...many of you may be too young to remember. But in the early 80's...Jimmy had a little lotto machine that he would bring on stage (the kind that blows ping pong balls around rando...

If I'm gonna pay $7.99-$8.99 for a six-pack, it's gonna be Sam Adams or a microbrew, not Landshark or Corona.....

I'm with you!!!

I always find these threads fascinating because one person's favorite ends up being another person's "most hated" and vice versa. It's My Job is one of my favorites and I really like Meet Me In Memphis. But from there I diverge from ccmatt: I love God's Own Drunk. It fascinates me that we...

Really interesting what some people don't like. I love Meet me in Memphis, and as I have stated before, hate God's Own Drunk.

If "Hoot" is any indication of what happens when Jimmy gets involved with making a movie, we're better off without it. I disagree, I thought Hoot was an excellent "tweener movie". My wife teaches tweens. She showed the movie in a number of her classes. All her kids thought it su...

oddly enough, I did not mind "Hoot" neither did my tweener. She thought it was okay. Academy Award wining-hardly. A nice movie-yes! Forwhatever reason, when I read Joe Merchant I always saw Dennis Quaid as Frank Bamma and Harrison Ford as Blanton, maybe even JB himself. Eric Clapton has J...

Hate Beach Balls. And they really s*** when your're trying to play on stage and you have to worry about equipment getting hit or knocked over.

Corona, Landshark, Simpatico all taste good to me in hot weather. I hate Bud light, Miller light, Coors light etc. I drink beer according to mood, season, location and taste. Some of my favorite summer brews are Sam Adams Summer Ale (great stock this year!) Red Stripe, Coronal Lite, Blue Moon, Sam A...

This is just one Salt's opinion (too easy for a joke, I know). ALL Annual Buffett Regular Spots are nothing short of special. No one will deny this. What makes Great Woods more special to me is the simple the culture of the environment. Buffett's music embobies Nantucket and the Vineyard. Block Isl...
