I just secured four pavilion tickets in two separate tried that are in the same row with only two other seat separating them at Alpine. They are in Section 203, Row CC. I guess it pays to be persistent. What could be better than spending my 55th birthday with 40,000 other parrotheads! Parrothappy :D

Pre-sale VIP tickets for Alpine (or anywhere else)
Does anyone here know if VIP sale tickets (pre-sale) for Alpine Valley have been mailed to the customers? Several brokers are already listing tickets for shows not yet on sale. They offer specific rows, etc. Would they have those ticket on hand this early? Just wondering.

I sold my Monday Wrigley Field tickets to a co-worker who is a Parrothead when I scored tickets for Sunday evening. She loves live music (as do I) and she is a big Stones fan. She went to the Stones concert in Soldier Field in Chicago last Saturday night. She told me that seats on the field original...

Thanks for the identification. I believe it was pre-recorded now also. We were sitting on the field to the left field side of the stage and I just assumed that we did not have a clear view of the proceedings. We had no problems seeing most of the band all day long so what I thought was live was prob...

Star Spangled Banner on Monday?
Who played the "Star Spangled Banner" on Monday? It blew me away. I hate to admit going to a Jimmy Buffett concert and crying but I did both Sunday and Monday. I'm getting soft in my advanced years.....

Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times, YES! Being able to sit on the field in left field (where Gary Matthews roamed in the early-mid '80's) was a surreal experience. As many other Parrotheads have said, these shows obviously made Jimmy very happy and to be able to share that with him and them made it all...

Speaking of the security on the field on Monday, all of the people were great! They did an excellent job of keeping people without field tickets off of the field. I spoke with a couple of the security people and they were unfailingly polite and helpful. I asked about arrests on Sunday and one fellow...

I was fortunate to have attended both shows and I have gone to Alpine many times. I had my reservations about Wrigley as a venue also but I was pleasantly surprised. We sat at the top of the lower deck last night and some of the sound was a little garbled. Today we sat on the field just to the left ...

Southern_Cross, There are portables on the field in left and right field on either side of the stage. They are made a little more private by tall stockade type fencing. The rush to the men's restrooms within the regular ball park during intermission was pretty much a crush of humanity. It all worked...

The are people and human beings. They are residents of New Orleans and Biloxi and Gulfport and Slidell and on and on. They are our citizens and our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, relatives and friends. Let's call them what they really are: suffering human being unfortunate enough to end up wit...

I was fortunate to have been able to live in the New Orleans area (Slidell actually) from 1990 through 1992. When I was offered a job there, the thought of moving to somewhere to live that I knew little about, only from a couple of brief visits, was disconcerting. I was recently remarried and had to...

Carmen, Take it easy and re-read my post! I'm advocating a second Alpine show because I love the place....... Who said anything about boycotting the shows? I'm simply stating that there are better venues in the Chicago area than a baseball park. So, did you get greedy, over-purchasing tickets to mak...
