Re: Education run amuck?
I blame the residents of that school district. They elected their school board. Either the majority of the voters supports distributing condoms to children, or the voters didn't waste the time to understand what type of administrators they were voting for. Being that this is in Mass, I'm assuming th...

Re: 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue & Illegal Immigration?
I'm not sure why the outrage by any citizen. All the AZ law does is empowers their law enforcement personal to enforce the federal law. It's a shame that Regan's amnesty for illegals didn't solve the problem. Bush, Clinton, Bush did nothing to prevent additional illegal entries. Other than the drug ...

Re: Congratulations Hershey Bears!
I hit the website didn't see the Capitals. I'm happy for the Hershey area. As a Pgh fan, I am sad to see the Caps having a strong farm team. The Milton Hershey story was on History International Sunday. It was very interesting. Hershey really is a great family vacation spot.

You've gotta be kidding me... Obama sees light ahead for oil-damaged Gulf Coast He declared, "I am confident that we're going to be able to leave the Gulf Coast in better shape than it was before. Could someone please message his blackberry and tell him that he doesn't have to lie every time he...

Re: Nebraska Joins the Big 10
It's amazing that these colleges keep maximizing their profits while they are still taking advantage of the free labor they put on the fields and courts. The free education argument is a joke when you consider the efforts the schools go through to get around the minimum standards for a 1-2 year play...

Re: Teacher Fired on "Morals" Charge
The NFL has a morality code. Players get suspended without pay. Are they being discriminated against? They don't even need to be convicted of a crime. Just the acquisition is enough to be suspended. I HOPE SHE WINS...I can't stand self-righteous people whose sole job in life is to dictate morality t...

While the above is true also, I can't help thinking there could be a Forrest Gump moment in November."The entirety of Jim Clyburn's ire should be focused on Carol Fowler... for epic candidate recruitment failure," the South Carolina Republican Party tweeted.

Re: I'm starting to believe that our Republic is doomed.
I think what is more disturbing about the voting public is those that choose to vote for the party vs the candidate. Those that will rely only on extreme right or left wing publications to form their opinions about candidates. Those that believe all the emails they receive from friends. Those that ...

Accused Felon nominated for Senate Alvin Greene, 32 and unemployed, shocked the Palmetto State's political establishment Tuesday night when he came out of nowhere - he didn't even have campaign signs - to beat well-funded fellow Democrat Vic Rawl, an ex-judge. But Greene's win - credited to the rac...

Re: NHL 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Super series. I really wanted to see the cup won at home. There is nothing more depressing than watching the winner celebrate to an empty arena. NBC could really boost their lineup next year by celebrating Hockey night each week and showing a game during prime time...It's not like they would have to...
