You can check out the dog friendly White Gate Court.

I stayed there a year ago. This is a nice waterfront
compound of 1940s era Keys cottages. I liked it
because I travel with my St. Bernard, but even if
you don't have pets with you I found the cottages
nice and affordable.

Happy Birthday Jimmy! Thank you for inspiring me to try new things, to creating adventures while following your songlines, for allowing me to meet many wonderful friends along the way who share the tropically-inspired lifestyle and, as always, being the background music to my life. Look me up if you...

He's gone. *sigh* I think it was only a couple days after Jerry died that JB dedicated the show to Jerry.. the whole CRB wore tie dyes. I think JB said Savannah was the one that got him into Dead music. I remember being front row at Great Woods just after Jerry passed away. Jimmy switched into a ti...

I love Tom Corcoran's fiction books because of the
detail and thought put into his characters so I expected
more meat in the Key West Years. I was disappointed
that I already knew most of the info in that short book.

Jimmy has always been told that he is the
"background music to our lives". Here is a
well-written example of just that! Very good
article. I'm sure each one of us could create
a similar songline between our lives and his
music.

This is actually pretty cool topic My hope, is that everyone that's "bored" with the show will stop going, sales will fall off, ticket prices will get cheaper,an I'll get to see a show on the floor Me too! I agree, maybe then we could get a "beach band tour" with Robert, Ralph, ...

All of these types of threads show how diverse our perspectives are regarding Jimmy, his music and the concert experience. Jimmy's songs or even his "Buffettized" covers still get to me every time I see him live. Is every show "perfect"...no. He's human. All I know is that his mu...

What a nice article! I found surfing two years ago. My progress has been slow and steady, but the time on the water I have before/after work or on the weekends is food for the soul. It's a great feeling to be on the board, feeling the rhythm of the ocean and watching the sun rise or set. What a grea...

I've never heard "Barometer Soup" at any of the shows I've been to, and it's one of my favorites. The first time I heard it (on the day the cd came out) I just knew that it would become a setlist standard. Boy, was I wrong. I agree...Barometer Soup is one of my favorites. I remember it be...

Used to belong to them before I moved back to Maine.
