My hubby really wants to do the bar crawl up in Virginia Gateway now that there is a 40% chance of storms. We will be up at the bar at American Tap Room. Hope to see some BNers up there. Pesonally, I think it will just be a passing storm as opposed to a steady 3-4 hour rain. It should last long eno...

Re: storms?

The weather forecast keeps flip flopping. I'm hoping for the best. But I've never been at a wet or stormy concert/tailgate. Any advice or good stories to tell of concerts from past? There was a show at Nissan a several years back (2000 maybe) where it poured. I don't think it lasted to long but it ...

How strictly do they enforce the no alcohol and no grills rule? I went to Charlotte last year, and nobody enforced anything there. We're planning on grilling veggie cheeseburgers and having chips and salsa, key lime pie, coconut cookies and rum soaked pineapples (I got the idea about the pineapples...

Looks like this may be my only show this year. First time since 1980 that I haven't seen multiple shows. Also a little bummed that my usual ticket tactics and contacts have failed to get me into the orchestra pit this year (I've been spoiled over the years), but I'll enjoy the show and party noneth...

Figuring out the alchohol was not a problem for me-Along with the usuals I've learned to make a couple of really good shooters...Lemon Cakes and Royal Flushes-Does anyone else out there care for these or am I the only one that has developed an almost near obsession for these two drinks? I just called the Pavilion and they insisted that parking will not begin until 3:00 p.m. When I specifically asked about parking early for a fee, I was told that will not be happening this year. Do you think they're just holding out info until the very last minute? Maybe. I'm sure they don't want t...

Well, saw these guys on Saturday night. Good show although I find myself becoming more and more critical of bands I see in concert. I guess I like my concert music to be exactly like it is on the cd. The crowd was so diverse. I saw a guy who had a Caress of Steel tour shirt and it looked like ...

Re: Less than 7 days

Hey Y'all, The flurry of posts today is getting me all fired up. I have the Wrigley Field DVD playing in the background and some pre-concert thoughts front and center on my mind. Our group of semi-quasi 40 something year old dudes would love to meet up with some other Buffett veterens. We are meeti...

At first, I thought I haven't been to too many but as I read all the beaches people have been to, I say to myself, I've been there. My most favorite/memorable beaches have been: Elbow Beach in Bermuda - the water is soo clear and warm and the sand is white with no sea shells to step on; it's amazing...
