Re: Bermuda...looking for suggestions

The Swizzle Inn is a fun little bar near Castle Harbor, if I recall correctly. It's on the bus route so if you plan on swizzling you don't have to drive! It will probably be too cool to swim, but Tobacco Bay, which is near St. George, was fabulous. The water is sheltered and very salty, so you can ...

Re: NCAA FOOTBALL 2012

Yes, Ken. A lot of exciting/close games, but our conference gets spanked again in bowl games. :( I'm looking forward to Notre Dame vs. Alabama. So, that makes my Northwestern Wildcats the beacon of light in the Big Ten? I had to snicker when I wrote that since it sounds so preposterous. :) Yeah, ye...

Re: NFL 2012 Season

If in week 16, Washington, NYG and Chicago win and Seattle, Minn and Dallas loose and then in week 17, Minn, Washington, Chicago, Seattle and NYG lose and Dallas wins, 3 NFC East teams get in as the 4th, 5th and 6th seed (according to the playoff generator) Sorry to disappoint you dude but Seattle ...

Re: NFL 2012 Season

I'm a big fan of http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/playoffscenario. I like the fact the Redskins control their own destiny. I'm amazed at what we've done. I thought we'd be 4-12 or 5-11. But before we think about Dallas, we need to take care of Philadelphia. I hope the Giants and Cowboys lose. It would ma...

If you drive by a little town called Llandrindod Wells, please look for my liver. I left it there many years ago.

This, of course, depends on your definition of perfect.

Re: NFL 2012 Season

Holy crap, Redskins in first place ahead of the Giants, and yes I know it's only because of the division record but still....? Wow, I would never have believed it if you told me this in September. Let's make the Giants irrelevant and then kick Dallas ass (again) in game 16 and win this division out...

Re: Suggestions on going to UK, espec. London and Edinburgh

In London, you can go to the London Eye which is a big ferris wheel. Also, I'm sure there are some Harry Potter type tours if that interests you. The financial district has this covered area that was used in the movies (diagon alley maybe) and that's kind of neat. There is more I'm sure, I just can'...

Re: NFL 2012 Season

Every sport has its own subjective criteria for the MVP award. There have even been players on last place teams who have won the award which obviously makes no sense at all. 99% of the time: NFL: The QB gets it. How many yards thrown combined with td passes and lack of ints. MLB: HRs!!!!! HRs!!!!!!...

Re: NFL 2012 Season

So, do you guys think that an MVP is: 1. Someone who performed well and did what everyone expected them/the team to do or 2. Someone who performed well and did what no one expected them/the team to do Just curious. Some might say #1 is harder to do than #2. And fabduo said: "That is because mos...

Re: NFL 2012 Season

At least they didn't keep showing the replay of the Giants' lineman getting injured. When Theismann's leg was broken it seemed like they showed the replay about 10 times to make sure everyone watching had time to go puke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHCXNt4P8Xg 53 seconds in. 8) My fantasy footb...

What do you know, the Redskins win a Monday night game. First time in a long time. Last time Redskins beat Giants on Monday Night Football was game in which Joe Theismann had his leg broken by Lawrence Taylor. Still can't watch that clip...
