Just wondering how many other self proclaimed seat snobs are out there?

Just got back from Grand Cayman and Little Cayman. Go to Rum Point on GC. There are a few cool little bars there and it's laid back. Seven Mile Beach is a tourist area. Decent beach but nothing special. Rent a car and drive around to the east end. The downtown area is nice but can be over run with c...

Vistited Aruba in July 05/
Stayed at Bacuti Beach for our honeymoon. Nice small place but I don't think kids are allowed. Make sure you get out of the resort, roam the island and spend money in the local places. Visit rum shops, chat with the locals. Try Fishbones for dinner, south of the airport. There's a cool dock bar out ...

I've been to Long Island a couple times but stayed in the Dead Man's Cay area about 2/3 of the way down the island. If you get down that way, go by the Greenwich Creek Lodge and say hello to Samantha Knowles for me. Also, if you want to bonefish, that area is incredible. Go out with Ivan or Elvis Kn...

Anyone on the "inside"?
As in, you work for Ticketmaster ("Ticketbastard"), Live Nation, Land Shark Lager, the venue, sponsor, etc. etc. At most shows, I would say there are probably 500 'premium' seats (first 5 rows in center or in the side sections but close to center). My question is, what % of these tickets a...

my thoughts
Seen JB at Alpine many times. The tailgating is a good scene and like most venues, can get pretty crazy when the weather is great. Much of the parking is on grass which is nice, but sometimes they don't mow close enough to the show and it's like standing in a wheat field. It's also true that dependi...

Met him twice....briefly.
I live in Chicago. JB usually attends a Cubs game or two and sings "take me out to the ballgame" between Alpine and Chicago shows. In 1999 and 2003, I was able to fanagle my way up near the press box and when he exited after singing, was able to get my Cubs tickets signed. I'm a bigtime bo...

Why JB plays....
Let's not kid ourselves, as much as I enjoy JB, his music, philosophy on life, etc., he plays because he is extremely well compensated. Granted, he worked hard to get where he is and deserves every bit of it, but he's also a marketing genius and his management company has done a great job of exploit...

Show was OK....
I really didn't like the opening of 'on the road again'. Not a Willie fan. Would have been much better to start with "Here we are". Also, didn't like the Glory Days encore. Where'd that come from? JB's got too many older songs that he could have pulled out and dusted off instead of coverin...

I need the Chicago recording!
A friend of mine somehow got incredibly lucky and managed front row, just barely off center stage seats. We were on Parrotvision several times and even had Micheal Utley hand us two set lists after the show. It was pretty amazing. In any case, you can understand my desire to get a copy of this show ...
