Wow, thanks for all the help!

That ready-made salt shaker costume looks like a definite possibility. I'm going shopping this weekend to decide whether to DIY or buy that one.

Thanks again to all who posted.

I think that anymore Sam Adams isn't exactly a micro brew.... We drink Yuengling, Rolling Rock (that may change, Bud bought them out...which just is the pits). We normally will split a glass of the local brews when out....nothing seems to be consistant though. A-B bought Rolling Rock?!?!? Say it ai...

Re: Buffett related Halloween help

Hey all, Every year my neighbors throw a huge Halloween bash, and I agonize over a costume. I'd like some feedback/ideas on this years choice: A lost shaker of salt: I figure: Plastic trash can, painted white, upside down with holes for head and arms The ever popular tinfoil hat ( with some loose s...

Another vote for Anne's Beach. The keets can have fun chasing the fiddler crabs from burrow to burrow. Not really much of a swimming beach, but a nice place to kill a couple hours.

Florida flights are usually pretty reasonable from BWI/IAD/DCA.

Plus, if next year's schedule is anything like this year's, Florida's a pretty good place to be in the winter. :D

I'm going to see the Landsharks tonight, the ad bills them as a "Jimmy Buffett tribute".

But hey, it's a free show 15 minutes from the house, how bad could it possibly be?

Thanks again to everyone for the advice; we had a GREAT time. Already planning a return trip. A car was definitely useful. We ended up renting a Jeep and driving all over the island. Don't know if it counts, since it wasn't "technically" for a show: A few years ago, my company was sending me on a business trip and I was given a choice between San Juan and Boston. Thinking quickly, I remembered that Jimmy was playing at GW that week. No brainer. Bought ticket on Ebay. T...
