Try to eliminate the hockey sticks (7's), snowmen (8's), one-legged snowmen (9's) and moose (10's) and you'll do okay. Unfortunately our season is only about 6 months long so it's tough to get enough rounds in. Played down in Coeur d'Alene at the beginning of May, but won't get out again until next ...

It's actually about 900 miles south. You folks still digging out from under the snow? Speaking of south, ...

I don't follow the AHL and can't afford the NHL, but up here the best bang for your buck is Junior A hockey (the CHL). These are the kids who are trying to make it to the NHL, AHL, or wherever. Talk about playing your heart out and doing whatever it takes to get there!!

Depending on the angle you hit at you could have compressed your spine a bit. You really should have a Doctor take a look at you. Been there done that. Playing hockey in high school ... had to sit on a pillow for 2 or 3 days it hurt so bad. Felt like a thousand splinters in my a$$! Now some 35 year...

About 20 years ago, a friend in law school had a little brother who had a band with some buddies from high school ... they called themselves "Woody and the Peckers".

Funny thing was, they weren't allowed to play at school dances because of the name.

I also picked up a cool one from Margaritaville Orlando earlier this year. Its a couple dolphins on a sleigh that says Margaritaville. Its fun b...

Chuck, I would recommend doing all of your scuba course work at home before you go and doing your open water dives down island. It sounds as though you have scheduled a resort course and not a full certification course. This way when you finish your open water dives you wont need a baby-sitter you ...
