How much MEMORABLE music came from the 80s? See above and that's only a random sampling. How much from the 90s? It all depends upon what trips your trigger but there's Indigo Girls, Matthew Sweet, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Fury in the Slaughterhouse, Pearl Jam, Todd Snider, Edie Brickell, Widespread Pa...

The 80's were THE worst era in music .... EVER! Except for Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Blasters, Los Lobos, the Radiators, Omar and the Howlers, the Long Ryders, Lone Justice, the Del Fuegos, Jason and the Scorchers, X, the Replacements, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, U2, Yes, the Police, Violent Femme...

Asia wasn't around for long........they should have REO Speedwagon in there instead!! I don't think Asia went anywhere. They have been around since the early 80's. They have had many line up changes and some degree of sucess over seas. They formed in '81, broke up in '85 and reformed in 1990 withou...

I heard some stuff from Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades the other day on XM that actually didn't sound that bad, I think it was a Yes cover.

Sadly Jason Bonham has sunk to the depths of drumming for Foriegner but I guess everyone has to make a buck somehow.

I got sirius so I won't have to listem to stern. That would be 1 reason to cxl my service contract. Ah...Stern is on Sirius. I always say I got Sirius in spite of him...not because of him. In 2 and half years I' ve managed quite easily to never had heard him. Yeah, you have to actually tune in the ...

What about the Music For Montserrat benefit, as well as the benefit concert for Hurricane Andrew and more recently, the From The Big Apple To The Big Easy: The Concert For New Orleans benefit? From The Big Apple To The Big Easy was in Madison Square Garden, he's played much bigger venues than that....

Van Halen "2.0"? Isn't this at least the third version of the band? As for the hair thing, it appears Eddie still has a full head of hair and Alex really doesn't look that much different. Before making any wagers on how long the tour will last, let's see if they manage to even make it out ...

Re: Todd Covers JJW

Seems to me that Oh Boy is picking up the scrapings now that Todd is gone. Sure doesn't sound like it to me, especially going by this portion of the press release: Peace, Love and Anarchy is not a post-contract, drag-the-lake affair. Let me throw this out to the crowd. If anyone here decided it was acceptable to start strolling through their place of business giving political speeches on company time instead of doing what you get paid to do, how long would you keep your job? I believe it's a performer's right to express their beliefs (political or otherwise) at their concerts. To suppress their right to do so isn't "free" speech as you can't have it both ways.
