SC, what kind of music did they play? At Jellyrolls, you write your request on a napkin and take it up to the pianos (with a couple of bucks to ensure playing!) and wait for your tune. It makes for a very fun night. How do they do things at the Keys? They played a lot of everything...For the most p...

There was a song someone put on a mixed tape (I'm dating myself here) for me a long time ago that was about Key West. . Talk about dating oneself! I bought a 45 rpm single from a Mallory Square singer/songwriter back in '74 titled "Life is a Breeze in the Florida Keys". It was kinda catch...

Another question to those who believe in God, do you also believe in Jesus? Only if they believe Jesus was the son of God. "Believing" in Jesus is as easy as believing in Jimmy, as there is a tremendous amount of historical record of his existence. Many people believe in the important rel...

The one thing that bugs me about religion is "fair weather" religious people - eg they dont have it as part of their daily life - but if someone is in need - they put "in my prayers" - do they actually pray every night? Kinda like the people that go to church only at Christmas a...

Oh, I forgot to report that Laura has now passed her Commercial written test! (Had to redo Meteorology, but aced it the second time 88%) She needs another 15-25 hours PIC, then will do the flight test, which is apparently pretty stressful. Then it's off to Winnipeg for multi-engine, IFR, and a job!...

We had a trip to the dentist today, 'cause Laura's newish filling has never stopped hurting... they redid it for free, which was nice. And we had a drive in the green, springy countryside, too. I should be out planting pansies... before that rain finally comes. Hope this one doesn't hurt Laura a bi...
