It doesn't bother any of you that an american girl was drugged, raped, and murdered on Aruba and the murderer is a free man enjoying life because his father was a high ranking judge on the island? That's okay with all of you? There are lots of nice islands in the Caribbean so I'm not going there unt...

Here's my view from inside the industry: The restaurant industry as a whole is about to contract and weaker concepts like CiP will not be around. There are several factors shrinking the margins to the point that only the best run, strongest places can survive. The cost of oil is having a huge impac...

I stayed in a resort last month, not in Jamaica albeit, but there were almost no Americans, a handful of Canadiens okay but we're talking about the US kind right? It was fun but it's kind of nice being able to understand the people you are talking to, but then they speak english in Jamaica right? I ...

Can you give us the link to this? And why wouldn't he play more shows in the venues he sells more tickets in or are those the venues that don't sell out?

I am looking for a power adapter so that I can plug my Frozen Concoction Maker into my car's lighter when I tailgate...Any suggestions??? It won't work, the power port in a car won't provide enough power. You'll want at least a 750 Watt power inverter that connects directly to the battery of the ca...

my $20 Oster blender works just fine I second that! I thought that too until my girlfriend gave me a FCM for babysitting her dog for a week....I haven't used my blender since. The FCM works better (no watery margi's anymore) and has replaced my bender for other things. I have a $30 blender and I ne...

I like microbrews and try as many as varieties as I can. Currently I have this fascination with Redhook Longhammer IPAs. Life is too short to drink cheap beer, unless there is nothing else good to drink... Longhammer is a good beer, we had it on at my bar for awhile. Where is that brewed? Is it ava...

It's a great beer, once you mask the flavor and odor by adding something better tasting to it.

I have watched AI briefly and frankly the only good shows they ever had were the Sanjay shows, the man was a riot, he didn't realize he was funny and that made it all the more hysterical. Other than that I've heard other singers who've never made it big that have far more talent than anyone I've eve...

I've liked Jimmy for as long as I can remember, back into the seventies, but I've only been a big fan for about 20 years. Seems like I'm a bigger fan of him every year. Sadly, my first concert was only last year. I pray it's not my last, best party ever, and that's saying a lot!

Thanks ScarletB, I know I'm not the only one. I know quite a few mostly disappointed Buffett fans. There are several big Buffett parties I go to each summer and we have the tailgate without the show after just 30 to 50 Buffett fans whom most have never been able to get tickets. Until this last year ...

Last year was my first JB concert. I had been trying for many years but just never won the Ticketmaster lottery that all the scalpers seem to have no trouble with. I don't feed the scalpers. Last year Jimmy finally played two shows in a large venue in New England and a lot of us unlucky Parrotheads ...

I highly recommend Captian Ed's Golden Catamaran sail on St. Thomas. It's the best excursion I've ever been on. Captian Ed really knows how to show people a great time. Also, if you decide to see Blackbeards tower in Charlotte-St. Amelie I recommend taking the taxi to the top. We walked up and the t...

Europeans don't bash on American beers because they're too light. The Germans invented the larger and the Checs invented the Pilsner. They bash on them because we ruin everything we drink because every liquid has to be homogenized and it significantly affects the flavor. Why in gods name would you h...
