Re: Last chance to add your name to the summer book swap

Works for me. Just finished American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld. Follows the life of a midwestern woman bron in the 1940's who marries the fun-loving son of a powerful Republican family who ultimately becomes president. It is a thinly veiled description of Laura Bush. It was named one of the tope ten...

Yeah, well, quite a few of them after 30 AND 40, some I gave up after 50, but I SWEAR, I will not give them ALL up now that I'm 60. Life is too short to not do a shot or few. :wench: When you are double 30, you can do anything you want! Isn't it Jimmy who says, "I grow old, not up." ???? ...

Re: Cruising to Key West in two weeks!

It's very easy to get to Captain Tony's from the cruise docks. Come off the docks to Whitehead Street (you'll see the large red brick building--the Customs House Museum). Straight ahead is Greene Street. Head straight down Greene Street and Capt. Tony's is on your right. I'm not sure what time you'r...

Re: Songs Buffett plays that must stay in the Setlist

y'know, other than BEG, I don't care what he plays. It's always entertaining and exciting. I just soak up the entire experience and not worry that I've heard them all before or didn't hear a particular favorite. That's why I have all the vinyls, 8-tracks, cassettes, and CDs that he's ever put out. I...

I have soooo many.... Some of my very favorites (and very personal) are: "I wish lunch could last forever" There is nothing like a long, lingering lunch on a sunny day with either a good friend, a grown daughter (or son), or a loved one. "Waiter, bring us one more bottle of wine."...
