Dang it I really want to go. Air is on about $522 from Houston plus whatever lodging cost. Hmmm then again maybe I could use frequent flyer miles and my sister's timeshare...Maybe just maybe I could do this.

Not to sound too negative, but why does there have to be a boat from the USA in this race? The "Americas Cup" was not named after the country, but after the boat that won the first race. There was never a stipulation, only an assumption, that the USA would always have an entry. There does...
