I really like Cozumel, and I'm with you...wouldn't stay in an AI there. There's so much to explore. Well, I just got back from Cozumel and the Margaritaville is still there. I did not eat there, but some of my group did. They said the food and drinks were great.

It's there, but their plans for beach access were short- lived I think. The stairs to the water were dangerously washed out in January, and it didn't look like there were any plans for repair. :cry: I would be happy to be wrong, please, please someone tell me you can get water access from Margarita...

Well as of last summer their was definately a margaritaville in Cozumel, and as far as i know it is still there and operating. This from reading tripadvisor. I think if it had closed it would be widely known on different travel boards.
