I'm thinking you probably just need the pass to get into the lot itself. Then you park wherever you want. Otherwise, they'd have to have someone walk alongside your car to the exact spot and park you. Seems really inefficient. To set up an area, I'd just recommend parking your car off a little ways ...

I feel your pain. Took the inlaws to Nissan last year. Left 4 hours early from Falls Church, VA (normally 30-45 minute drive). Took us 3.5 hours to get there.
