Those damn scalpers think they've got it made etc...I like seeing them lose their asses! They only hurt the fans who can't make the show because they ask too much money. That's what's funny about people complaining over the years about ticket prices (for any touring act, not just the Stones) going u...

I saw the Steel Wheels tour at the Silverdome near Detroit and then the Voodoo Lounge tour at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, MI and the Superdome in New Orleans. Steel Wheels was the better of the shows but the Voodoo set list was more interesting and the stage was, I dunno, I thought the SW stage...

I listened to Mango today while driving around. It's got decent songs on it - all the albums do. It's just not a good album and the production is weak. I still view it as Buffett's worst album. It's all pointless anyway, how good or how bad something is. It is what it is. You like it, I don't. Etc.....

I don't think I've read anywhere on BN that anyone thinks Jimmy did anything wrong but I'd like to point out one thing - the media jumped on something stupid that was not true, just like what happened last year with Wayne Gretzky and the gambling fiasco. Like the song says, lip service. What a bunch...

That was in the Missoulan? Or another website like that. I'm not sure if the links are still there but I found it on iorr.org. It was all dealing with the Stones when they played there the other night. Ticket prices weren't a big deal - it was sold out. The tickets prices aren't any worse than anyon...

Awright, is it the little dude? The big trenchcoat mic stand waving because there's nothing else to do cause he can't do anything else dude sings You do your thing and ah'll do mine - ha ha ha ha! That's appropriate! Looks like that might actually come true. I saw one of their videos with a friend, ...

Although I find the article amusing, regardless of what anyone says, I don't like Chesney and I don't listen to him and I don't care if he plays football stadiums or is or isn't imitating Buffett - I think the media (what is drive-by media anyway? Is it any different than sleeping-outside-your-windo...

Well this seems to have gotten really stretched out. First off, I do like DSTC and I think it's a very well done album with a great spirit and it certainly is not a typical Buffett record, which is really great. It has some silly, not bad (Math Suks, Cultural Infidel, Turning Around, Take It Back, e...

I don't think any of them are that busy - they don't tour much and they mostly work on, it seems, recording covers. So so what. Jimmy obviously hears something in other people's songs that he wants to...convey. Hell, he's been doing that since 1973. There isn't one album that doesn't have some kind ...

Turning Around
I've said it before but it's been a while so it's time to stir it up again - Jimmy's worst song ever released - the production stinks a million times more than the actual writing of the tune but we'll never know - is Turning Around. It's obviously a - oh yeah, oh MY! A Mango leftover! Fitting innit?...

Fruitcakes has a better overall flow throughout the entire album whereas Far Side is a bit broken up by the different genres covered on the album. The title track comparison is a cinch - Far Side is way better than Fruitcakes. I'd rather listen to Altered Boy than that horrendous Vampires... Someday...

All the vinyl record albums except Down To Earth, High Cumberland and Rancho Deluxe - I do have Before The Salt. Well, specifically, the ABC/Dunhill editions as well as the MCA rereleases, two versions of A1A (one is a double fold out), and the MCA original releases until the last one, Lizard. All t...
