I think those Pool Parties at Hooters were excellent. Better location than the Street Party, and not as hectic or crowded or hot. Too bad they are a thing of the past.

I suppose there will no Hooter's Pool Party before and after the concerts anymore.... Those were a great way to start and end the concert with groups of friends.

It will be good in Vegas! Those few of us who showed up last year had fun anyway, and the local PH Club treated us to a sweet party. Even Margaritaville treated us like royalty - they were so down because of the lack of the crowds for the concert and no Street Party. It will be good to see everyone ...

I dunno - the way he has been dangling concerts out in front of us and then retracting them makes me wonder if we can count on what he says. I know that I will not buy airfare to anywhere for a concert until I have concert tickets in hand after being burned last year!

Actually found a patisserie in the Paris Casino in Vegas that had some pretty decent reproductions of those cakes. Their displays looked almost as good, and there was another bakery in the Bellagio that is supposed to be very good also.

Well, there could have been some asses driving the mustangs....
