I lived in RI 37 years and now live only 5 minutes from the state line but I've never been to (or heard of for that matter) Tricia's tropical grille until I read about it on this thread. Me and Mrs. Mcgee went there for lunch today and it is about as close to a key west restaurant as I've found outs...

Turns out I will have a solid 4-6 and it looks like Food and Newport are on the list. The cliff-walk looked interesting too. Seeing I've never been farther east than Chicago. What's the bad rap of Providence? If you have the 4-6 hours like you think you do, then I'd leave providence and head to New...

4 hrs isn't much time to see any city really, but assuming your meeting is IN the city of Providence I'd offer these suggestions (in no particular order.) Walk along the river and look at some of the sculptures. Take a tour of the State house Go to the RISD art museum Walk along Benefit St/College h...

First--I'm jealous as He*l. Second, I read a thread about this on Traveltalkonline.com sometime last year. The thread was geared toward the BVI and said it's hard to get a work permit because the jobs are held for the locals first. You may want to go there and see if you can find the thread or start...

Go to tripadvisor.com, search on vegas, and then go to the forum's tab. That website has whole threads, broken down my month, dedicated to vegas promo codes. It's a GREAT way to save some money. As an FYI, there are a ton of posts on this site everyday and you may have to scroll back a few pages to ...

I'm taking my son out to the grand canyon and surrounding area's next month and that trip will total about $2500 for a week including, I hope, everything. (in the interest of full disclosure I'...

Couldn't agree more with smartwomanshort skirt about the bvi.

Biras creek is actually listed on luxurylink too, so you may be able to go at a discounted rate if the timing of the honeymoon matches up with the special offer.

Chicago O'Hare Airport Question...

I need to switch airlines in Chicago next month. My question is can I walk from one terminal to another (I believe it's terminal 3 to ternimal 2) without going through security? I only have an hour and don't think I can make it if I have to exit one terminal and enter the other through security. Tha...
