Re: Who's Going to Bristow, VA 8/27-see page 41 for contact info
We're some of the bummed about the date change group. Yeah, we were peeved about no tailgating, but in the end we went for the show. I can't get vacation approved at the last minute for days proceeding a holiday weekend.

So are grillls allowed or not. From the Nissan web page: CONCERT TICKETS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION INTO THE PARKING LOTS. NO ALCOHOL OR BARBECUE GRILLS ARE PERMITTED IN LOTS. Wear Sunglasses/Hats, and apply Sunscreen. Please remember your wallet/ID if you wish to purchase alcohol. Site is http...

What's so wrong about having a cell phone turned on, as long as it's on vibrate, during lunch? It's lunch for God's sake....compared to fights and kids doing drugs behind the bleachers, this issue seems rather ridiculous. What's wrong about it is that it violates a school policy. Is the policy wron...

First, I absolutely think the kid should have been allowed to finish his conversation. It was most definitely a special circumstance. But the way I see it the kid was breaking the rules before his mom ever called. In order for him to answer the phone, it had to be on. The school doesn't allow cell p...

I heard on the radio last week that Bruce Springsteen is trying to help his fans avoid scalper prices. Right now it's just for the good seats in the front section, but if it works well it may expand. The tickets for good seats are not sent to you before the show. You have to pick them up at the tic...

I agree on the karma. The few times we've ended up with extras, we sold for face value + TM fees + postage. I had to post in the ticket exchange this year. (Even with 2 high speed lines, 2 dial-ups and 3 phones, we still got shut out! ) So far I've had 3 people email me to sell me tickets. Un...

The rules seem pretty clear to me. If you had used a different credit card for the second and third orders you would've gotten your tickets. Probably not, unless your credit cards all have different names and billing addresses. This includes duplicate orders having the same name, billing address or...

I think it sucks that the ticket I paid $65 for last season is gonna cost $86 this year. And at Nissan, if you are in the back 1/3 of the pavilion you may as well be on the lawn. $86 for a lawnview seat is high even in scalper terms in my book. But in an attempt to find the silver lining - maybe the...

I once had a doctor tell me that it's almost MORE important that your relatives know what you want than what you put on paper (this goes for organ donation, too)... In this situation, he said, you'll be unable to speak for yourself, and any lawsuits that might be brought against the hospital or doc...

Re: Anyone bought "Greatest American hero" on dvd
I loved that show as a kid but Im scared to get it and realize it really sucks and ruin a good childhood memory like I did watching the Dukes on cmt. Same here. That was my very favorite show (I'm still trying to find a t-shirt) but I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed. I was when I watched Mork &a...
