Anything that required assembly before it could be played with was unwrapped. Everything else got wrapped in special Santa paper. My Santa illusion lasted a long time. We left milk and cookies with a note every year. Each Christmas morning we'd get a note beside the empty plate from Santa thanking u...

The only movie I walked out of was Grosse Point Blank. Although, when I saw it again on TNT or something it wasn't as bad as I remembered. Just kinda dragged. Mallory, how could you walk out on that it has one of the best 80's soundtracks ever :D . Not to mention it has John Cussack We like that mo...

We're pooling here at work. We've sent off for 4 shirts so far. And I still have a huge pile of caps on the corner of my desk.

I love Mac. I was a MassComm major and Macs are the choice for most media applications. The biggest problem is lack of software. That's the only reason I put aside my Mac and went with Windows at home.

Don't fall asleep on your back cause they will lay on your chest and steal your breath  True at our house, but only because they are so darn fat that they'll crush your chest! We have 3 kids, all of which have 4 legs, 2 of which are of the feline persuasion. We'd have more if our house ...

John D. MacDonald is the best, no question, no doubt. I totally agree. His books fill an entire row on one of my bookshelves. John Sandford is another of my favorites. He gets his own shelf, too. But only for the Lucas Davenport books. I didn't much care for his other character (Kidd, I think it is.)

according to the Secretary of State's office in Ohio only 135k provisional ballots were issued. Not sure where the 270k is coming from. When the polls closed, there were still hours long lines. Some voters opted to use paper ballots rather than wait in the line. These were different than the provis...

The news I watched this morning said there were almost 270,000 votes left to count, so it is a possibility. But the real point here, I think, is that Kerry/Edwards made a campaign trail promise and now they're making good on it. They told people to get out and vote and that their votes would be coun...

If UPS sent it where you told them to, it's not their fault. They did their job and you have no recourse with them. You can try the suggestion of contacting the people who live there now. I wouldn't hold my breath but it never hurts to try. I didn't mean it to sound as though I was blaming UPS. But...

UPS and a Wrong Address

Here's my dilemma - I sent my bud a BD present via UPS. I had a huge blonde moment and sent it to his old address. It was delivered 10/27 and left on the porch. Am I totally screwed or can UPS go ask for it back?
