We'll be traveling to New orleans for the first time in January, then we're driving to Lulu's and we'll be staying at the Margaritaville Hotel enroute to orlando. I was driving by the east hampton Airport here on Long Island NY and Jimmy's Jet and sea plane are by his hanger. I guess he's still hanging out and surfing here.

I happened to be searching for some sea plane landings in the East River of NYC and came across this one. It appears that the person who took the video didn't know that it was Jimmy Buffett's plane, but it certainly is. If this video has been posted before, sorry. Enjoy!!

This will be great!! A trip to sunny Florida for a visit to Hogwarts, then drinks under the wings of the Hemisphere Dancer, sounds perfect to me!!

I've just switched from beer to rum and margaritas, I'm sorry that my lack of Corona intake has resulted in a 4Q loss.

It's got to be Jones Beach! in the higher seats you can listen to Jimmy and gaze upon the beach and see the ocean. Also, it's only about 8 miles away for me so that is a big plus. I get to set up the tiki bar again there this year!!

I shall definately be planning a trip there in 2012!! It will be so much fun to be in Florida in December with an ice cold Margarita in one hand, and a frosty glass of Lone Palm Ale in the other.

In the Photo section of Buffettnews, there is a picture of the Grumman Goose in Jimmy Buffett's Hanger in Sag Harbor, NY. I used to see this plane all the time when I would drive by there on my way back from Montauk.

I saw him at Jones beach a couple of years ago and the fans kept rushing the stage, so much so that he went backstage and sang the rest of the songs from there. The band stayed on the stage while Morrissey was backstage singing, it was odd for the show to end like that.
