End human suffering and ensure worldwide love & tolerance.

Then I'd round up Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Ralph Reed, John Ashcroft and all the other religious extremist mouthpieces and gently but firmly place a divine foot in their a$$.

Gotta go with the Green Parrot. The "big name" places (Hog's Breath, Sloppy Joe's, etc.) are a little too touristy and often too crowded for my tastes.

I know, I know, my age is showing.

I made mine from scratch. I started out drawing the classic "restroom guy" sign you see on public bathrooms, but I changed the image to look the way I dress for Buffett shows (grass skirt, straw hat, coconut bra, etc.)

I never got accused outright of having an obsession, but at my old job, I had my cubicle decorated with big palm trees & tiki masks that stuck out over the top of the wall (I worked at a company that made video games, so it wasn't exactly a strait-laced kind of environment. Wearing Hawaiian shir...

One key family has moved out already, and the other currently has their house listed. We shouldn't be far behind.
Hey Tiki Bar, this sounds like a trend in your neighborhood. Are they dumping toxic waste there or something?

Whoops. Looks like the place I was talking about in the earlier post was in fact Kelly's, which has already been recommended.

Great place!

I can't remeber the name off the top of my head, but there is a FANTASTIC restaurant in the building that used to be the Pan Am office, and they still have the inside decorated with plane parts, historic photos, etc. When we were in Key West for Meeting of the Minds last year, our whole family had d...

I'm behind the curve as usual, since this has already been answered. Anyway... If you consider "The Jimmy Buffett Handbook" a reputable source for such things, it states on page 177: "Encouraged by the success of Hot Water, he released Off to See the Lizard in time for that year's sum...

I once ran into a friend/co-worker from a previous job. I knew he was into Buffett, but I didn't know he would be at the show (and vice-versa). Of course, we both had a few drinks under our belts, and that just added to the merriment. Kinda weird considering the place we worked was a fairly small co...

Yeah, I'm remaining optimistic. It really seems as though the whole Boston debacle is at the root of the delay. I woudn't be surprised to see the rest of the summer get scheduled pretty quickly once things get ironed out up there. Till then, we'll just keep the CD's spinning and the drinks flowing. :D

If you knew anything about how things are done up here in Boston you would know that "someone" is waiting for the briefcase to be delivered before the city will give it's blessing. It sucks but thats the way it is up here. Wow. Pittsburgh and Boston must be sister cities. Getting somethin...

Right on. And since you have a bunch of folks who will be going to shows soon, don't worry about mailing mine right away. At the rate they're confirming tour dates, I won't need mine till around Thanksgiving.

Assuming he comes to Pittsburgh at all this year, that is (pleasepleasepleaseplease...)

One of the figures would have to come with a blender (and small bottle of Margaritaville Tequila) and the blown out flip flop. I love it! I have a good friend who is a SERIOUS action figure collector, and a few years ago he graduated to making his own custom figures (this is the natural progression...

I just soak a couple of cans of pineapple chunks in Parrot Bay the night before the show. Use fancy umbrella toothpicks and you have a pina colada on a stick! I was popping them in people's mouths as they passed our tailgate last year at GW! This sounds awsome! I wanna swipe this idea at some point...

I'd buy one. McFarlane makes INCREDIBLE looking figs (I own a handful). The fun part would be coming up with all the features: "with realistic guitar-strumming action!" "with authentic beach ball-kicking leg movement!" "with kung-fu margarita grip!" "includes remov...
