Re: HEALTHY LIVING

exercise done....on with my day. :wench: it's always great to get it out of the way early in the day! that way, you can always end up doing more if the opportunity arises. My exercise will be the gym tonight right after work. Most likely 30 minutes on the elliptical, and then 20-30 minutes on weigh...

Re: Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

I agree that locking the kitty in the confined space at night is probably the root of the problem. Cats like to roam around at night, and I'm sure the kitty is very dissatisfied.

I know they will keep you up at night, but close your bedroom door and leave the bathroom open so she/he can explore!

Re: HEALTHY LIVING

My food shrink always says "write before you bite"....there have been a lot of times I've thought about having something....look it up....and then say....nope, not worth it![/quote] It was first annoying to my hubby but now he even has me look up things for him before he orders when we are...

Re: HEALTHY LIVING

Just curious if any of you all are actively doing Weight Watchers? I've lost 20 lbs in the past year (that's going on and off), so I think it's a good program to actually change your lifestyle. I am not currently doing WW, but I have in the past. And I agree, it is a good program and it works. I'm ...

Re: I was there!! Inauguration 2009!

Yes, I was representing BN, WV, and King George, VA! I'm still very very excited about being there. It was amazing! And yes, the memories will last for a lifetime! I even slept in the National Air & Space Museum, along with hundreds and hundreds of others who were camped in every available space...

I was there!! Inauguration 2009!

I went to the Inauguration yesterday!! It was a little crazy, but it I wouldn't trade if for the world. I was part of history!

Also went to the Inauguration concert on Sunday.. Garth Brooks rocked harder than anyone there!

I'm just curious if any other BN'ers were there. There has to be!

Re: HEALTHY LIVING

Wii Fit is fun, but kind of time consuming. It takes almost an hour to do 30 minutes of activity. But, once you unlock all the poses, strength exercises, hula, and rythym boxing, you can get a pretty good workout without a lot of disruption. We also have Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009. It'...

Charlie Weiss has to be feeling a whole lot of heat this morning. How do you lose against Syracuse? hahaha exactly. Syracuse is the worst team in the BE and the BE isn't really having a strong year AND their coach just got fired. Glad to see 'Cuse win though. They just need to try to beat Cincinnat...

The Caps are doing pretty well too. Semin is one of the leading scorers in the NHL (and so is Malkin for the Pens!)

Even if a politician fully intends to keep his promises of these changes, we must understand that a lot of things can't be completed within a 4-yr term. It takes time.

apparently we're still getting ripped off here in VA. Well, at least t his part. It just dropped to 2.29/gal. But it's at least 1.93/gal in Richmond, only 50 miles away. Grrrrr I know. I'm not complaining about a $2 per gallon drop, but not very far away I could be paying quite a bit less. It's jus...
