Actually, there are no hotels in walking distance of the arena. Carolina Girl was thinking about us walking to Jax Landing from the Omni, but we took a taxi to and from the arena last time we went.

Has anybody transcribed or have a transcription of Jimmy's & Mac's revised lyrics to "When the Coast is Clear"? I haven't found the new lyrics anywhere on the Web.

I'd say "Lizard" and "Barometer Soup." On the latter, I especially like "Remittance Man." A line from that song is one of Buffett's best: "She was but a gypsy, he was just a stray; they almost made a miracle, but it slowly slipped away...."

Sinatra is the man. Yeah, his voice was shot and raspy on the duets but it's still fun to listen to "Mack the Knife" with Jimmy.

I think that was Mike Utley sitting next to Jimmy. As for the others, none of them look familiar!
(Well, Utley didn't look familiar either!)

In 1982, Jimmy appeared on the SCTV (Second City) comedy show with John Candy in "The Fishin' Musician" segment. They went fishing from a hot air balloon. He also sang "A Slow Boat to China" on the show with about three or four Coral Reefers. Does anybody know which Reefers accom...
