Re: So where's the outrage?

It seems there is more "outrage" that someone questioned the First Lady's wearing of $540.00 shoes when it was previously reported that she shops in "modest stores". Someone even said it was racist to do so. I don't know of any store I would consider "modest" that sells...

Re: Free meal!!!

I tried to print the stupid coupon and it wouldn't..................that's okay, I prefer El Pollo Loco. Much better than KFC. Tried to print out a coupon earlier today and got one. You could get up to 4. ( I know of at least one person that somehow got 6.) Anyway after the first one printed a mess...

Re: Free meal!!!

I've had their grilled chicken. It's either the stopping smoking has messed up my taste buds or it su<ks. I'm not sure. Grilled to me implies a Weber with charcoal and a chunk of wood to make some sweet blue smoke. I'm betting none of these are found in your average franchise. Grilling (or their ve...

Re: Interesting? Dangerous?

Restrict American companies from sending 'American' jobs overseas? This goes against everything that so-called free marketeers and the American capitalist system, as currently constituted, stand for. Those folks overseas do just as good a job as domestic workers, and they do it for far less . I str...

Re: Interesting? Dangerous?

Why should anyone find it dangerous for someone to urge the sheep of this country to stand up and save it from ruin? Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it; the rise and fall of the Roman Empire comes to mind...... oops, was that in my out loud voice? It appears there are segme...

Interesting? Dangerous?

Decide for yourself. I find it interesting. It runs a little over 6.5 mins.
No doubt some will find it inflammatory and dangerous.

Gee, no s***??    Swine flu may be less potent than first feared The swine flu outbreak that has alarmed the world for a week now appears less ominous, with the virus showing little staying power in the hardest-hit cities and scientists suggesting it lacks the genetic forti...

Re: So where's the outrage?

I have to agree it was insult. Telling people, everyone has to cutback and feel the pinch, tighten their belt, or however you want to say it. Then show up wearing a pair of shoes, that cost more money than the people there haven't probably ever seen at one time.... So why shouldn't the Obamas practi...

USUALLY/GENERALY photo ops are not classified and are open to the media and anyone else. The Presidential 747 only becomes "Air Force One" when the President is aboard. ( Just as the Vice PResident's plane becomes a different category/priority and call sign.) They do not carry the same se...

Pretty much the information of getting rid of the buggers by eliminating the sources and what they habitate in is the best way. As long as there is an available food source, they will do their thing. I have had them in many products from bird food to planting seeds to various human consumable grains...

So what will you do when the power goes out? Say for several days or weeks, such as a mega storm hits amd knocks everything out? My opinion is that people have become far too dependent upon electronic technology. It is well known that if our Sun has a violent activity event, it will cause catastrop...

For those that might want to form a rational opinion about this, I suggest you read the actual DHS report in its entirety to see what it REALLY says. And if you want an actual "fair and balanced" assessment, perhaps read what the VFW has to say: http://www.vfw.org/index.cfm?fa=news.newsDt...

Re: Susan Boyle - what everyone's talking about

You dream and you believe and you hope and you think even as you trudge and you work and you bend and you break, but somewhere inside the light stays lit just a little and you keep it lit just as much as you can through all of the challenges and you still keep it burning for the one chance that you...

I saw one of the Susan Boyle clips (the woman wiscoleeds linked to) earlier today. WOW!!! As for the other clip and her rendition of "Over the Rainbow".....she's got a nice voice. But whyinthehell can't people sing a song the way it was written????? I mean, she changed the timing; she cha...
